Seeing Keith kicking shit up at the helm of this band is like coming full circle. Makes me seriously proud to be an old over40 diehard punk rock chick. How does that old saying go...They wouldn't know real punk rock if it jumped up and smacked 'em in the face?? Well...Keith and the guys smacked 'em. Poor kids, standing there like that, mouths open and minds blown. They just don't know. Way time for a wake up call. Can't help but think of the young ones in Cerebral Ballzy. There's hope yet.
@GN0MEz -- I definitely have my old crotchety moments, but I try to have hope. It's just so strange and troubling to watch the state of music. When I look at the current pop/mainstream stuff right now it does remind me of my youth with all the Bay City Rollers, Frampton and other mindless pap, er -- POP -- and disco of olde. We rebelled hard against it & pushed things to new levels. How rad would it be if some of the blown minds in the crowd went back home INSPIRED??? Gotta have hope.
@wargear257 -- there is hope! Have you been following the releases/live shows of the Wisconsin hardcore band Holy Shit!?? They've been kicking up major waves since the early 00's. Really tight band. Totally reminds me of Keith's raw energy on vocals mixed with Vic from Articles of Faith. If you search them out here on YT beware that another band (indie/art-rock to my old ears) may pop up in the searches. If you like CB I think you're really dig Holy Shit!, too. Keep rockin' :o)
