Extremists/salafis/wahhabis are hallow, it's that hallowness that leads them to reject tasawwuf which is the corresponding science of ihsan-literalists find this hard to grasp and define in terms of their black and white perception. Unfortunately their "quran and sunnah" slogan is attractive (though not practical). Fortunately, their deviated zeal is too much for even them, one who falls into one extreme will always reach the other, may that process lead them to the path of the rightly guided.
