If you need to upgrade the echo version for cqb, change the spring to an M110, bringing the fps down to the 320-340 range. As for the ROF just get a small type 9.6. I have an M110 and 9.6 in right now, and the RPS went to the 25-30 rounds per second area. If you ant to upgrade for outdoors play, get a systema hopup system, and a KWA nub. Hope this helped

The Echo 1 P90 is based off the AGM Clone P90 branded by KS, therefore, out of the box the internals should be inferior to that of the CA. Should technically make for a good budget upgrade platform though compared to the higher end CA model. Comes with metal bushings and gears as well; all it needs is a compression tune up and a new spring.

i have the CA P90 and its great. If you know anything about airsoft, you know FPS isn't anywhere near everything. It doesn't affect range or accuracy, only how fast the BB gets to a certain point.

However, Metal bushings and reinforced gears are very nice features regardless of having a high FPS to cope with.

The ROF on the CA is great, this video presents it pretty accurately. Also I've noticed the 9.6 that comes with the E1 is pretty bad, but the CA 8.4 is nothing to smile at either.

yes but if you are going to use the E90 for waht its designed for (CQB) youll have to downgrade the spring and when you do that the RoF will increase... so personally i think the E1 E90 would be best cause of the good internals and (if you downgrade the FPS) its RoF is as good (or better) than the CA

But for people who don't know a thing about gearboxes, you're screwed because now you pay extra money for a tech to install it, not to mention shipping. the CA has all you need. The E1 only needs metal bushings because of the higher spring. The sportline isn't crap, it's the exact same as the proline (for CA P90, the parts are the same). I have the proline and my buddy has the sportline. I disassebled both gearboxes next to eachother and they are identical. All thats different is metal upper

I could take my MP5A5, put in a Prometheus 6.03 (or heck, a Tanio Koba Twist barrel), Firefly bucking with E1 H-nub, Area 1000 Cylinder, Prometheus Aero Cylinder head, Systema Duracon Piston head, System Super Core Piston, Guarder SP130 spring, do a re-shim, get some helical high torque gears, Systema magnum motor, and a reinforced tappet plate and be beating an M16 or M16 variant in range AND accuracy.

echo 1 is a company in the starters range if not mid (and no i do not mean the shitty plastic guns u buy at wal mart for a buck with 18 mags they dont even DESERVE to be on the table) they make guns pretty powerful because they got alot of metal stuff, so they make most of their weapons field not CQB...i have an echo-1 stag-15 and it is CQB powered with alot of metal but is currently in the shop...NOTE:these are my opinions feel free to call me a 'tard

I have the Stag-15 too. it's amazing. check out my review if you want. My friend has the KS P90 which is basically the same as the Echo 1. The only problem with it is that he had to tighten the motor on it an the mid cap it cam with broke.

I have the Echo 1 P90. The one thing that they don't tell you is that most Echo 1 P90's semi-auto usually breaks after 500 rounds. Yes, I used highly-polished .20's, lubricated my barrel, and released my spring after shooting for the day. I also read about other people having the same problem. I still believe that the Echo 1 P90 is better, though.

Yeah but for that extra 30 bucks you get an extra magazine, a 9.6v, not sure about the mah...I think it's 1100 battery, you get a replacement BLACK metal flash hider, and you get Echo 1's 30 day warranty. Oh the Echo 1 also has trademarks that the KS doesn't have. Thier not Real Steel trades, but thier better than none. PLUS, Echo 1 QC is alot better, you'll be less likely to get a lemon if you buy the Echo 1. I mean it's your choice, but I would get the Echo 1 for all the extras you get.

Besides the fact that I want a red dot and not a TR? The KS also comes with a 9.6 1100 but I don't use 9.6v anyway (it wears out your motor faster). Plus E1 lowcaps suck, CA/TM are better plastic and lock in without having to whack them as hard. Also, the QC is no different because it's the same gun. Rebranding means putting it in a new box, with new writing printed on the body, the internals are identical.

Yes it would work just fine. The P90 actually has an M4 length inner barrel thanks to it's Bullpup design. So there would be no difference in using the P90 or an M4.

If your looking to improve your guns accuracy, and you want a silencer, buy a longer, tightbore inner barrel. M16 length should be pretty good, that would give you an extra 4 inches of barrel, then use your silencer to cover the extra barrel length.
