and what all that for? Not our war! I left coz i wanna c ma daughters grow up. Dnt wanna die for no reason. Bless the lads n their familys but i wont be one of them. Im out and start ma life now

My great great uncles regiment, he died on 8th May 1915 at 2nd battle of Ypres, Frezenberg Ridge!!

Good to see them home , and well done lads!!! but whats with the heavy drill?? i thought all the rifles marched 140 to the minute?

They now have the Freedom of Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean.
If they were in Ceremonial Dress then they would wear the Back Badge of the Glosters as well as the Bugle Badge at the Front.
They are now a new Regiment with a long History of Honours and had a great reception yesterday when they marched in Gloucestershire.
