Iran's still used Arabic letter mainly because they cant get away with out it, Persian is gone forever their language is mixed of Arabic and old Persian which doesn't exist and majority of the words are stolen from Arabic. their is Persian institute in Tehran to swap the Arabic words with new Persian one just like what kamal Ataturk did with Turkish and they will never change unless the bring new language and call it Persian.

@Kafatasci35 Actually I have quite a bit more knowledge on the subject, but you seriously don't realize that Wiki is about as peer-reviewed as possible, it has countless people arguing behind the scenes and proving/disproving posts. I like it because it's a live-encyclopedia where the author's bias has no weight vs. other people who step in with right information. The more popular the article, the more you can trust it will be unbiased, because the more people will have to back theirs up.

I think that a far broader series of events that included the ethnic cleansing of Muslims from the Balkans and Caucasus and which culminated in the ethnic cleansing of Armenians and Greek/ Turkish population exchanges. I don't see evidence of centrally ordered genocide.Unfortunately this seems to have become an ideological issue that generates hate and racism. This is not good and gets us nowhere.

Armenia's population is shrinking- they missed their chance. Ditto Greece and many Arab countries. Probably Iran too but it is too early to tell.
