  • I like how you teach its very detailed and its exactly what i need for my Spanish Class trip in the restaurant.

  • I have seen biftec for steak. is this correct?

  • @Jahcrooks actually, it is "Bistec".

  • This helps a lot!

As a 19 year-old student who has only just started studying Spanish (for more reasons than one!) in the UK for about 2-3 months, what would you recommend I start off with? In terms of vocabulary/phrases and the like.

    Again, thanks a lot!

  • tomar means to take right?

  • Thank you! It is nice to learn this way!!

  • FISH SOUP!!??!!??!!

  • @KCrenshaw09 sopa de pescado

  • i'm not sure, how to pronouce the letter " v " sometimes i heard as the word "v" just like in english, but sometimes also pronounce as "b" in english,

so is there any particular usage of this words? according to the country?

    thax for the helps.

  • @beensolongg Sometimes in Spanish "b" and "v' can sound like something between an English "v" and an English "b."

  • Visitez ma page où on enseigne l'espagnol!!!

  • Congratulation grettings from Spain, three future Language in the World.

    Spanish, English and Chinese.

Great Resources and future grow in south america, the Great market in China, and the business language English. In the other hand 300 milions of Chinese are learning English, 125 milions spanish, the future is the knowledge at least two of this three.

  • Thanks, your lessons are great! Very helpful

  • i tryed learning tht stupid language but i couldn't because venezuelan spanish is the worst . they only made hate spanish...

  • @AlmuntaserTV Your language is stupid, and it is the easiest language in the world. It is so poor, that when says ''we'', you don't know if it refers to men o women, but in Spanish you can know it.

  • @WALOKEINELUSTful shut the fuck off.

first my mother language is Arabic !! not english

second spanish is ugly filthy language , it's english with o or a at the end of each word!!!

  • @AlmuntaserTV That's because English is an unoriginal language, and it has many therms from Latin and Old French, and Spanish has its origin in Latin.

  • @AlmuntaserTV kiss emmak sharmoota

  • @moh459

    baraka allahu feek

  • @WALOKEINELUSTful hahaha and when the fuck would we need to know that? English is one size fits all my friend, all though Spanish es una muy bonita idioma.

  • @guitargod21136 Correction, ''El español es un idioma muy bonito''.

  • Very good job man. Concise and simple.

  • umm... i don't think the captions are saying things right

  • @vathumuttai your second option is wrong, the alternative suggested by languagenow is ok and very polite btw

  • you know quieren means they want not you want.....if you want to say what do you want to drink you would say que quieres beber

  • i really love your site it is love to everyone around me

  • excellent i learn the two languages at the same time

  • I hope you are not traveling to Spain..because most of the words in this video are not use there..

  • I drive a school bus on which more than half the kids speak Spanish. Some speak very little English. Can you create a leason for me that includes some basic phrases sush as, "Please sit down." "Please stay seated. " Please stay seated until the bus is stopped." Please don't do that." "Have a good weekend." First grade line up." These are the kinds of things I need to learn right now.

  • lol

  • I don`t know much English, but I understand you

por favor siéntense, siéntate(for a boy-girl), por favor quédense quietos, por favor quedense sentados mientras el bus para, por favor no hagan eso, tengo un buen fin de semana, primero hagan la linea(fila is informal and more common) niños,

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH. i have been looking for good spanish videos in you tube, your lessons are most helpful and easy to understand.

  • Great Job

  • Hi, the spanish lessons are very good, i have already 2 years spanish on school and i'm in spain a lot but it's always good to check your spanish again

    groetjes from Holland

  • Hi Professor Jason,

I just want to say thank you for all your efforts in creating the videos. I have already watched a few and I am learning quite a lot.

  • can you teach us some names in spanish and i also want to know if you know any other langueges

  • Usted un experto en Espanol amigo.

  • Maestro Jason,

I am learning Spanish and I am very impressed with your video and teaching. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. Can we say "traigame una servilleta por favor" to the waiter or can we say por favor traerme una servilleta. Which is more appropriate. Gracias!

  • they are both correct, but the first is more polite and appropriate, or you can say: Podría traerme una servilleta, por favor?

  • Muchas gracias maestro.!

  • @languagenow

  • Frig, I'm never going to learn spanish.

  • awesome!

  • Thank you so much for these! :D

  • ¡Muchas gracias! Voy a ir a un restaurante mexicano que se llama Puerto Vallarta con mi clase este viernes y quise saber unas frases comunes para pedir la comida y una bebida.

  • una coca de dieta por supuesto!

  • Youre' video's are wonderful!

I was wondering if you could do a video on words and phrases you might encounter while learning how to make a dish? ie: bake, boil, stir, one cup of...ect

  • Once again, thank you for the video!

I was just wondering if you maybe could do a video on how to use the imperative form in spanish?

    Muchas gracias! Johanna

  • Thanks for the new video :)

    It's very helpful :)

  • Thanks for the new video

  • I didn´t know the word "tarta"... sounds weird for a Portuguese speaker :)

  • I'm a native spanish speaker and that word sounds weird to me too LOL

  • También puedes decirle torta o pastel, es lo mismo.

  • Hola Professor Jason,

Thanks for the video. Very helpful and most useful. I really like that Caramel Custard you mentioned. Sounds "absolutamente delicioso". I must get that recipe.

  • I think they have it in a box premix in the store so you can make it at home(kind of like jell-o). Just look by all the Goya stuff....it's pretty good.

  • Love the video - so helpful, as always. I was glad to see you posted a new lesson! Thanks :)

  • hi J, good video, as always :) and very useful, too!
