This is one of my fave albums and songs on it. As a HUGE Genesis fan I connected what Pete did much as what Tony banks might be inspired from. Love Latimer's guitar always. The drummer and bassist are unsung hereoes in my opinion. The production is top notch, great grain and delivers on mindcape terrains. Excellent stuff. Thanks for sharing!!

This song is just so amazingly beautiful. So very haunting to the soul. Always loved this song. Takes me back to better days. This song takes me back to days of true happiness and innocence. I miss those days. My heart just aches for those days. What a time that was! Never to be forgotten! There was a magic in the air back then that you just cant feel today and that is a real shame. This song is pure magic in itself! Missing those days but hold the memories in my heart forever!! ☺♥

Check out their Moonmadness. In my opinion an equivalent of top performance of Pink Floyd (my nr 1). Camel is more melancholic though. And I like it that way.

Please don't act likea fanatic one! Everybody knows Camel were inspired by two of the greatest bands in the world, Genesis and Pink Floyd. I mean they're no copycats. They just learn from the pattern, and what they do is terrific. I love Camel, you wouldn't imagine how much I like them. I did not say anything wrong. This song is great, as I said.

I agree that Camel is a hybrid of stiles between Pink Floyd and Genesis. With that being said I believe they are much better than over-rated Pink Floyd. Genesis is still king though.

Pink Floyd and Camel are totally different. They maybe from the same era, but musically speaking, Pink Floyd is based on blues, Camel is based on melodies, although beautiful ones, but far from the complexity of Pink Floyd music.
