What kind of travel do you get out of the rear suspension. I had this same idea for a buggy but i want mine to have more of the john deere gator type look to it. you opted for the clasic dune buggy lines and it looks real good. I want the gator configuration as it would be really great around the farm. I may have to build two of them now. one for farm and one for fun.
Any reason for the olds engine or is it one you just had lying around. is this a beer induced project lol. not that theres anything wrong with that. We once built a house boat out of old underground fuel tanks. 1/4" plate steel hull. oh yea power of beer on a hot day lol. whats your location i want to know if your close to me .
i've watched all your homemade buggy vids & am greatly impressed! been considering building my own for a while now... think u've inspired me to get off my lazy butt & get 2 welding! i have 2 fwd donor cars i can use (but i still need 1 clunker to drive!). once i decide which to use, i'll get started. thanks for the vids, the info, & the inspiration!
hi i really like all of your videos and i was wondering if you could make a video of the rear suspention and how did you make it so the rear wheels turn like they used too when they were on the front of the car??? please and thanks that would really help.
Does the olds have equal length CV shafts? I have considered a similar project using front wheel drive in the rear. All the cars I've looked at had a short and a long shaft. Without a body and jacked up the short side will have a very steep working angle. Have you had problems with this?
you have a king king.

how much has this hole thing cost?
JDL1352646546566 2 years ago
hard to say. I had most of this stuff laying around or donated, traded, or did work for parts.
