@Shadow1234531 the only way you could get to chronoboost a terran building would be in a team game as zerg, if you neural parasite an scv long enough to build a command center (it takes quite a few neurals) and also neural parasite a probe to build a nexus, thus giving you the tech trees for all 3 races. Also, I just realized that I don't know if you can neural parasite an ally's units...
anybody remembers day9 bashing on some terran player on mlg (think it was sjow maybe?) cause he didnt attack from the highground with his banshee?? HEHE mythbusters 1 .- day 9 0. ^^
Also, I find it strange that air units get revealed when not having the high ground vision, but ground units on the high ground don't get revealed (except maybe tanks that are too close to the edge, but you still can't shoot them, only see them).
@Digifier As a Zerg, if you neural a probe and make a nexus, then neural an SCV and make a command center, you can create SCVs under your control, make barracks, and chrono them with the nexus.
for the first myth, when you chrono something then scroll over the chrono symbol in the top left it says "this building is at an accelerated rate" doesn't say produces faster.
That creep tumor thing seems fishy to me. When the queen laid down the tumor, it was an already finished one. You need to contaminate a budding tumor and see if it will not complete.
The Chronoboosted Barracks was awesome! Do a Planetary Fortress next. It's supposed to have a higher rate of fire while under the effect of Chronoboost.
@BengBug Does the same apply for ground range attack? lets say a baneling was A attacking a stalker, but a zlot was next to the bane. The stalker kills it, will the zlot be damaged?
Thanks for telling me that the two high templars that merge don't get corrupted as an archon. I really use a lot of corruption on high templars, since they are so strong and have so much HP.
@XplicitProject They don't choose myths based on how much they will be used in game; Rather, they choose ones based on the sole mechanics of the game.
@Bumperpegasus The way chronoboost works is that it increases the timescale of a building under its effect. Basically, everything about the building is "faster", for example, a chronoboosted Planetary Fortress should attack faster and a chronoboosted creep tumor may spread creep faster (unless creep spread isn't a part of a tumor's timescale).

It shouldn't work ingame.
Test it in a real game or something.

.. You should contaminate an 'active' creep tumour and see if it can continue making new tumours or not.

First myth was awesome.
When the question poped up I laughed and said: "Obviously not, it only boosts production".
I wonder if that was intended or if that is a unintentional consequence of the coding
Bumperpegasus 4 months ago 133
@Bumperpegasus it also makes a planetary fortress shoot faster.
DibzIsHere 4 months ago

@Bumperpegasus i think what chronoboost do is that it speeds up time for that structure in game. So i think it was intended
godstrikez 4 months ago
@Bumperpegasus obviously intended, you have to code something to change the moving speed of a barrack.

guitarpro925 4 months ago
@Bumperpegasus Crono boost changes how fast the target is affected by time, so that means (Should atleast) that DoTs deal damage faster too.
