this is not a bossa nova song nor is Bryan Adams a bossa nova artist. Bossa nova has a really distinct rhythm and it sounds like west coast jazz. Tom Jobim and Elis Regina are my favs.

Olivia has a perfect vocal, to me :)

But singing a sentimental piece like this doesn't make her stand out... it feels like there's bound to be at least 2 contestants who could easily be of her standard. However, her bossa nova and jazzy pieces are simply so extraordinary which I do feel that it isn't too exaggerated that she's hailed in Japan as the best bossa nova singer in 10 years! Wishing her a success in her singing career :D
