  • I see there noisy

  • @supermarnies Not really, that one that made all the noise just had some loose parts on the light kit, I didn't know it because I probably had not turned it on in a year or two before I made this video. They are all but silent unless they are running on the highest and next to highest speed.

  • that sounds terible for the really noisey one but its a really nice fan and exelent air mover

  • @hunterceilingfan354 That did sound bad but it was just loose parts on the light kit. All I have to do is tighten things and it is actually the quietest one. It never gets used so it is really still like new compared to the others that get used all the time. Thanks for watching and leaving the comment!

  • and i upload that song back

  • @emersonceilingfan1 Cool!! Thank You!

  • hey avtreasures,i'm the same guy behind the name "mrforkfan" and i comment in here before under that "mrforkfan" name, just letting you know someone spammed my mrforkfan account so i closed it and created this one and that spammer got cought and he's blocked so i will be in this name longer than all my previous names/accounts..

i also told you about old Christian music like "child of the father" mylon lefevre song

  • @emersonceilingfan1 Sorry to hear that, glad you are back!

Thank you very much, that is a great song and very hard to find!

  • Super powerful fans, you've got real treasures there. Would love to have one of these myself someday.

  • @mpsslovak Hey Cole!! Thank you! I am fortunate to have these, they were already in the house when I bought it 17 years ago. I'm sure these will continue to last as long as the house does, they are well built fans. Thanks for watching and leaving me the comment!!

  • the third ceiling fan is noisy!! why do they buzz?

  • @MrFandude123 For some reason the light kit on that third one causes that buzz you hear. All I have to do to silence it is tighten on those thumb screws that hold the light globes in place and it stops. This is actually the smoothest running of the 4 fans becasue it has hardly been used at all. I wish I had re filmed that clip, because it really doesn't sound like that in normal operation. It had been a long time since I had turned it on and I guess the screws had gotten loose over time.

  • @AVTreasures can you do another vid? and why do they buzz?

  • they are also loud

  • @yoheath66 Only on high speed or the second speed. I never use those speeds. They move plenty of air on the 3rd speed!

  • @AVTreasures they are pretty fans I like those I would like to get one but they probably don't make them anymore

  • are the blades wood or metal

  • @yoheath66 The blades are metal.

  • Sorry ray, 84randomdude just thinks I'm a troll which I'm not. If you don't want me to use this video as a war zone, just tell me and I'll stop.

  • @jonahmusto it can be disrespectful to not capitalize someone else's name, troll.

  • sorry Ray. jonahmusto just has a way of ticking someone off. If I'm annoying you just let me know.

    ~matt~

  • @84randomdude No problem my friend, I know you have had trouble with this person. I always appreciate your help!!

  • @AVTreasures lol thanks!

  • @84randomdude Can you unblock me please?

  • @jonahmusto i don't feel like it.

  • The brand is Encon.

  • @jonahmusto are you on crack? they are crompton greaves. I'm surprised Ray hasn't blocked you yet.

  • Don't throw it away! They're good fans!

  • @jonahmusto did he say anything about throwing them away? i didn't think so. do I have to babysit all your comments? c'mon dude. seriously.

  • @84randomdude They are so powerful that it is not worth throwing it away. Can you unblock me and I will unblock you, deal?

  • @jonahmusto what kind of sense did that make? none, of course. He did NOT say he was going to throw them away.

I want 10, yes 10 LEGITIMATE reasons that I should unblock you. TEN

  • @84randomdude

    1. I want to be able to tell the brand on the unknown fan you will film in the future

    2. To slow down to stop my imposters

    3. I want to be able to ask some questions

    4. I want to be able to send you some videos

    5. I want to talk to you about haters.

    6. I want to be able to help you try tracking jonahmusto21's ip

    7. I have been leaving some nice comments and stopped being a hater a month ago.

    8. I want to be able to talk to you about making more videos and my vidoes.

    (2 b cont'd)

  • @84randomdude Continued from my last comment

    9. I want to be able to warn you when an imposter comes back.

    10. I want to be able to help you troll the haters ESPECIALLY false jonahmusto**s

  • @jonahmusto you apparently can't do math either. that is 2 i asked for 10. so 10 minus 2 is 8. you need to give me eight more reasons. and what kind of drug dealer dealt drugs with you anyways? please stop pestering people on YouTube. we'd all appreciate it.

  • @84randomdude 8 reasons are in my other comment below "All Comments (32)". I had to do 2 comments because I can't do more than 500 characters in 1 comment.

  • @jonahmusto it is 10:20 PM. Isn't it way past your bed time?

  • @84randomdude Not for weekends. Now can you unblock me because by tomorrow morning, I better be unblocked.

  • @jonahmusto go to bed kid

    BETTER be unblocked? OR WHAT?

  • @84randomdude If I'm unblocked, we can try to push jonahmusto21 out of youtube and track his ip.

  • @jonahmusto you better go to bed before your mom gets mad at you for being up late

  • @84randomdude She's not getting mad. Can you unblock me by tomorrow morning so we can try to push jonahmusto21 off.

  • @jonahmusto little kids need their sleep. go to bed. night night

  • @84randomdude No need to talk about that. Answer my question: Are you going to unblock me by tomorrow morning?

  • @jonahmusto probably not by impersonating nearly EVERYONE on here you have RUINED yourself on YouTube

now, turn off your computer and hit the hay

  • @84randomdude Last replying to you for today: When do you think you'll unblock me? I will NOT impersonate any more users.

  • @jonahmusto I don't care. You cannot erase what you did.

GO TO BED. You have school monday, kid. you need to go to bed.

  • @84randomdude Now, can you unblock me and I promise not to impersonate anyone ESPECALLY you.

  • @jonahmusto no

  • @84randomdude Please do. If you do, you would wish that you have done it sooner.

  • @jonahmusto YEAH RIGHT

  • They're older than 1980. They're from the mifd 1970s. The controls are newer than the fans.

  • @fanowner12 Ok, cool! Thanks for the information.

  • @MrForkfan Cool!! Believe it or not, I didn't even know what brand these fans were until I made this video and here they have been hanging over me for 17 years now..LOL!

  • @MrForkfan I don't blame you for throwing it out, I don't really like any of the light kits but the fans work so well I just ignore the lights.

  • They could fly on high if it was free!

  • @jonahmusto I have often wondered about that !

  • the one @ 1:44 dident sound so happy! sounds like my fan on full blast! anyways great video and great vintage fans!! 5/5 and a favorite!

  • @xctome Yeah,I almost re did the video over that but it is just the light kit making that noise I can touch it or tighten one of the light globe screws and it will stop. I hardly ever turn that one on. Thanks Mike!!

  • @AVTreasures wow. my fan the motor is a bout shot. well the bearings are!

  • very cool fans you got there! i think they have a 48" blade diameter. but those things shurely fly!

  • @thefandude21 Thanks!! OK so they are 48", cool. I didn't know exactly how they were measured.

  • @AVTreasures yeah they are measured by the tip of one blade to the opposite tip of the other blade

  • @thefandude21 OK, I measured like that and it is exactly 48", Thanks.

  • @AVTreasures your welcome!

  • They must be powerful.

  • @jonahmusto Yeah, on high they are pretty powerful air movers.

  • @jonahmusto no crap they are powerful. You need to leave this nice person alone and don't be spamming like you did with everyone else.

  • I'm not totally sure when they were made, but yeah they look to be pretty old like you said. Thanks for making this video!!! And since this is a ceiling fan video, I'm sure YouTube user jonahmusto will have something to say. If he gives you ANY trouble please do not hesitate to block him. Everyone else has.

Man them things sound like a tornado on high! lol! I bet they really move A LOT of air too don't they? I have a video of the ceiling fans in my house but thinking about re-doing it. 5/5 man

  • @84randomdude Other clues around this house make me think they are from around 1980. That's when the lady that I bought it from moved in and I think she had the fans added, built that garage out back etc. One of my friends lived in this house back in the 70's so I know they were not there until after they moved in '79. Your welcome!!

Yep, they really get after it on high. I never use high, usually the 3rd speed is perfect, sometimes the 2nd in really hot weather. Thanks dude!!
