  • The 7 train in Queens NY can go much faster..Geez

  • WOW THAT WAS SUPER FAST! WHAT WAS THE COLOR OF THE TRAIN....I THINK IT WAS RED!

  • how many gears? 4 LOL

  • india lol worst democracy in the world

  • Thumbs up if you saw a Sardar driving that.

  • The locomotive is a wdm2.

  • Comment removed

  • That's faster than CityRail hehe

  • French,Chinese, japanese etc trains do not have any of the charm that indian railways offers ..just speed nothing else..i love IR ..as for foreign i would like to see swiss, greek, estonian trains that pass through scenic routes ..i am not really interested in Shinkansen/TGV/ICE

  • You should go outside indian to know how fast the trains could be. It is fast for indian standard. Just travel to your neighbour China to see their trains.

  • iT DOES TOUCH YOUR HEART. iNDIA,S TRAINS ARE AS MIGHTY AS THE HIMALAYAS

  • Yes, it's super fast, only by India standard though.

  • hahahahaha .... we ski faster on snow (140km/h) ......

  • Who are we ?

  • i'm referring to the hahnenkamm downhill race in kitzbuehel uaaaaahhhhhhhhhh - would like to pint out that the ski speed record was 200km/h - not on the hahnenkamm though.

  • sorry i was lying, our hermann maier did 150km/h there ....... hahahahahahahaha

  • lying again: the speed record for men was 1999 in les arcs by harry egger 248km/h, for women in vars 1997 carolyn curl 231.66 km/h. hahahahahahahahaha ........

  • Its fast by India's standards

  • In my mind, according to Indian newspapers, India should be much better than this

  • the indian papers always exaggerate, and they might add "and coz we have thousands of chickens on the roof this slows us down" hahahahahahahaaaa

  • my car goes faster BACKWARDS!! AHHAHA

  • so in your opinion you are forward? and your car is proof of it?

  • that was ABR WDM

  • shit-train lol

  • You call that fast? LOL!

  • @tsakogiannis No you right that train is driving like 100 km/h but 100 km/h is enough speed too

  • The train is - 9771/81 Amritsar jaipur express.

  • if you wanna demo the speed of a train, then you should'nt video tape it from the stations, cause all trains slow down near any stations to decrease the risks of accidents, go to the middle somewhere on the tracks, then you'll see the real speeds

  • that seemed ABR shed WDM from its livery

  • i have been always interested in indian railways.. my longest journey have been from delhi to bangalore.. karnataka-superfast express n tht had been awesome.. i

  • that's not super fast, that's super sonic, man!!! lol

  • i used to live in dat area i lived der fr lyk 16 yrs n i identified it right away

i always used to go to the station at 11pm or so to see shatadbi express

when ur actually travelling in shatabdi u dnt feel the speed it seems the train is moving at 100 km/hr n its weird

  • ya..it feels as if we're at 100kmph or even lower..but if u see the GPS device..u read "

130" or "150" if ur on BPL Shatabdi

  • thats a WDM-7 loco.....wow good video !!!!

  • WDM-7 it can't be,they are found nowadays only in SR stretch, and all are housed by Tondiarpet

  • Qué bueno el bocinazo!!! cool!!!!!!

  • Thats going at 100kmh.

  • not Super Fast but it is fast.

  • for ur info india is not a 3rd wordl counrty it is a devloping counrty. it has the fastest growing economy in the world . gorws art 13.7% a year. but i do agree india has its downsides like exteme poverty in bihar. but things in inda are taking a turn for the better and is an emerging superpower. it will take at least 10 years for india to get a good gdp of at lest 43,000 dollars

  • uhh..Extreme poverty in Orissa would be more like it :)

and India is a DEVELOPING country, not a 3rd world one.

  • @chakdemumbai234 India better hurry up, china already has a 186mph train that will crisscross the whole country! What is india going to build to top that? China is well ahead!

  • @chakdemumbai234 I bet you have not seen real super fast trains. Jaraa India ke bahar jaake dekho to pataa chale. Tu mainu ek gal das...if India is a developing country then why is it not developed even 60 years of independance . Whatever u are talking is just parrot-talk taught to you by ur politicians who are actually "developed"

  • I've always wondered what the bars on the windows on all Indian trains are for. Is it simply for security?

  • it that indian like seeing nature so they kep there head out for that purpose they keep that bars

  • yea, try a hsl train. ex: ICE, TGV, Shinkansen, Acela

  • what a show by this diesel-hauled 12 coach train! this IS fast, must be 100 kmph atleast.

  • the delhi metro is faster

  • Hey Japan, you should study these fast train in India.

  • that train just might beat my pet turtle!

  • lol haha

  • In usa we drive cars faster than the "super fast" trains in india" but I think I have ridden on that train. We went from amritsar to chandigarh and went to jalhandar on the way.

  • yeah but if u go to germany theres no speed limit its UNLIMITED.

  • its a train, not a dodge neon

  • lol. but your trains are on an average slower than trains in India. the only exception is the Amtrak ACELA, so don't compare cars in US to trains in India. Compare trains in US to trains in India.

  • metro is faster :O

  • lol it is a super fast train, but probably runnin at low speed when the video was shot.

  • Lol so fast goes the metro

  • No suicide bombers around?

  • the doors are fucking open and they're just sitting out of them, that train was going so fast.

  • RUNNING TRAIN

  • Indonesia has also got the fastest train called parahyangan for Bandung-Jakarta track. the distance is about 173km. it takes approx 3 hours long. if it compares to TGV or eurostar which can reach 315km/h, LON-PAR, then it's nothing... LOL.

well, we're still developing all.... :)

  • india doesn't fuck around

  • now india is famous as a train speed!!

  • that loco looked like a Geep

  • What the hell, my bicycle can go faster than that! lol

  • go for it then

  • huahahaha... it's the super fastest train in india buddy!

  • @vancouverbluz sure it willl

  • very nice video.. nice sound..

  • lol that was slow and it looks like its from the 40s

  • Mr lol india is still developing so u cannot expect good speeds here mister

  • that's not even fast.. :l

  • this is a good video wheel sounded like the train is ripping off could be around 90-95 kph

  • the sound is good but it isn't really going paticularly fast

  • Like a drunkard who makes alot of noise but cant really throw a straight punch. But these trains have personality. I travelled in train like this into the hill country in Sri Lanka and was able to enjoy the scenery, the wildlife which can never happen in a TGV or Maglev. technology can sometimes be a curse.

  • that is centainly true, but they get you to your destination faster (keep your fingers crossed)

  • The more technology develops, the added stress that comes with it dosent make it worth it. People who live in laid back countries are far healthier than us. But getting back to trains i hope they never remove the HST Intercity express train in England.

  • well it appears that most companies are getting rid of them in favour for the electric version, bu7t first great western will keep theirs for many years to come. i have acctually never been on one but i have they are very good

  • so u are saying indian trains not worth of being travelled.Well i dont think so mr. railway person

  • acctually quite the opposite, i am sure that all indian trains are worth going on however hte only plroblem is, t costs alot to get to india by boat or plane

  • Nice harmony from the train

  • I remember taking these trains from Amritsar to Ambala Cantonment or to New Delhi and back... they were always fun... Shan-e-Punjab, Deluxe Express, Flying Mail, or Super-Fast Express...

  • i love the sound of the train...

  • Haha, me too xD
