Our department had a 6 month old I believe that coded on her moms chest and when the rescue got there, there wasn't anything anyone could do. Our guys actually were tearing up at the hospital... never have I seen them become emotional like that before. The ZZ guy is just jealous that we get to save lives and people call us heroes while he gets to sit and watch and not be admired for anything.

scottybellucci .... Thank you, you're absolutely correct about everything. Our department had a 6 month old I believe that coded on her moms chest and when the rescue got there, there wasn't anything anyone could do. Our guys actually were tearing up at the hospital... never have I seen them become emotional like that before. The ZZ guy is just jealous that we get to save lives and people call us heroes while he gets to sit and watch and not be admired for anything.

I am a female volunteer firefighter/first responder, we save lives not destroy them. And that floating up the ladder takes skill, not the devil. The chant is either us talking to our fellow firefighters or us praying that everyone comes out SAFELY.
