Except all the good information that saved lives was attained BEFORE he was waterboarded, using the same techniques that have been used the last 80 years, the ones that were used after WWII which led the Nazis to hand over the keys to all the German rocket and weapons programs. AFTER they waterboarded KSM (187 times) they got a whole bunch of facepalm, all the stuff that led to the war in Iraq, which was just a bunch of stuff KSM made up to stop the torture.

His original interrogators, the ones who worked with him before the waterboarders took over, maintain that all of the useful information was given BEFORE waterboarding took place. He was even bragging at some points. All of the innaccurate stuff came after he was waterboarded.
Just like with the Nazis.Americans did not torture, Soviets did.Americans got custody of the science programs, the Soviets got nothing.

Even though KSM is a murderer and terrorist he still has rights under the Geneva convention (the right to a fair trial) not one of Bush/Cheney's kangaroo courts where the defendants rights don't matter and the outcome is predetermined.
I think that a criminal should always be tried in the jurisdiction where the crime happened so the community at large can see that justice is being done.
