  • damn, forgot my glasses in room 1205 !

  • don't masturbate inside your house, costs much money than having sex with.

  • Fireworks costed much more than the demolition itself.

  • im making a petition and a fundraiser to get his hotel back....

  • hey thats going out with a bang

  • wise guys ey?

  • It's like the most orgasmic 4th of July show you've ever seen.

  • i remember staying there back in june of 2007 and remembering having their $2 rita's and buffet always took the stairs lol

  • I would love to see one of these in person!

  • I'm sure that structural engineers appreciate the high honor given to the great condemned edifices of Vegas!

  • What am I watching? A firework show or a demolition? I couldn't tell the difference.

  • the two construction workers at the end:"Fuck, now we gotta clean all that shit up"

  • In Japan, building implosion with blasting is impossible.

First, Japanese buildings are stronger to endure earthquakes.

Even though huge earthquake attacked Japan on March 11, buildings endured.

Main damage was due to the Tsunami attacks.

Second, separating garbage according to type is strictly wanted in Japan.

With blasting, more costs are needed to separate garbage.

I'd like to watch blasting show like this directly, but a show won't be done in Japan. It's a shame.

  • just like wtc!

  • they know how to go out with a bang

  • I Like That SHOW!!!

  • LOL @ Vegas. For the life of me, Las Vegas (and the people who go there to piss away their kid's college education money at the casinos) will forever remain a mystery to me.

  • No implosion hurt as bad as the Stardust. The Frontier had to go badly because of its location. Just like the Tropicana, they could've given the Stardust one more facelift and left it there forever. Now what do you have? A nine story cinderblock, and signs saying DO NOT ENTER, area is condemned.

  • @Bartels92 They closed the Star Dust because of Echelon place. Stupid move obviously..... Because then the recession came in and now there place with their stupid name is closed...........

  • only in vegas..

  • I miss these days. Roaming around, hotel to hotel, checking out different designs.

  • We are wasting resources by blowing down buildings we can otherwise use for shelter.

  • @tnguyen318

I understand your argument, but the land value is too high for that . Money is to be made on the piece of property .

  • Who owns that piece of land?

  • Reminds me of that movie about the guy who hated car alarms.

  • In America, you don't like house?blow it up! In Soviet Russia,House blows YOU up!

  • THATS IT IM GONNA BECOME THE BIGGEST CELEB EVER IN DA UNIVERCE THATS RIGHT RAYMAN AND JAK IS GONNA LOVE ME FRED IS GONNA LOVE ME ALL YOU 90'S PEOPLE WILL LOVE ME SONIC'S GONNA LOVE ME IM GONNA BE ON INTERNATONAL TV ON NEWS/COMEDY/ANIMATION/WEATHER/SPORTS/MUSIC/LOCAL/HBO/MOVIES/G-AMING ALL AROUND THE WORLD IM GONNA HAVE MY OWN VIDEO GAME IN RAYMAN/JAK AND DAXTER STYLE ALL THE COMMENTS ARE GONNA SAY WE LOVE YOU STEVEN ;)/STEVEN RULEZ AND IM GONNA BE EVERYWHERE ON THE INTERNET COPY AND PASTE NOW

  • @jadonSteve Shut up.

  • Fourth of July? I can only hear the "Stars and Stripes" in my head. All those car alarms are SO SCARY!

  • And Encore sits there watching as it gets topped off. To bad the Cosmopolitan was the last hotel to be built in Vegas until probably 2018. Montreaux replacing the Frontier? Echelon where the Stardust sat? FORGET ABOUT IT!! Caesars is having enough trouble finishing their new ultra luxury tower.

  • eh, They just worship the doller there, its neat to see buildings come down, but if they tear down the old ones there will be no landmarks left, of the old vegas the one of the classic rat pack days, the days of the mafia, and the high class italians.

I fear Cesers palace will be one day imploded in my life time, the granddaddy of them all, that would truely be sad.

  • @manga12 Caesars was smart, they put hundreds of millions of dollars into renovating in the 1990s. if they didnt do that, I guarantee that Caesars probably would have been imploded sometime around 2005

  • TERRORIST ATTACK! D:

  • I Have an Original 1967 opening day Ashtray specially made for the Grand opening of that Casino, back in its day !

  • Everything is las vegas is a spectacle!! even tearing a building down they make a show of it..!! lol..

  • @613RL yay them! every day's a holiday and every meal's a banquet!!!!!

  • i love this hotel i wish they didnt take it down..

  • Just watching this on channel five on megastructures looks awesome

  • well the frontier got a firework show befor it was imploded did anyone see the other videos like the sands. it was an execution

  • It sounds like the hotel is takin its last breaths before it falls and dies. COOL

  • the implosion has become more of entertainment... it would be better if there were concert and raffle draws before destroying the building...

  • the building exploded

  • Yet another Vegas landmark goes up in smoke. This was the first hotel that Elvis played in Vegas. This city has no respect for its own history. Sad.

  • This was like watching the death of an old old friend. Sad Sad Day ; (

I Spent many a night in the the Penthouse right under the "N"! And Many a Day at the Craps Table.

They treated me and all my friends like royalty. Gonna Miss ya The New Frontier!

The Chips were not my favorite though... I hope they were destroyed along with the Casino!

  • LOL

  • Damn, the implosion failed! >:/ Just a lot of lights...

  • its vegas baby!

  • wow ... . even the car cries ... .

  • wow! thats one heck of a way for the NF to go

  • Both the Stardust and the Frontier were imploded in 2007. So now what is going up where both of them stood?

  • @ScorpioBornIn69 It's just ugly scaffolding. Not to mention the abomination that Trump built behind it.

  • @craniumkazzo It is hard to see these older casinos go and being replaced with multibillion dollar corporate casiono resorts. I miss the Stardust the most on the Strip, it was the icon of Vegas. If I had billions, I would've bought it and at least renovated it or take it down but then build a larger and even better resort to make it just as glitzy and call it The New Stardust.' Vegas is not the same not seeing the glitzy Stardust sign when riding or walking along the Strip.

  • R.I.P New Frontier.

  • that was awesome!!

  • Way to over the top

  • And now it's just a vacant lot. Too bad they didn't see the market crash ahead of time. Might be a long while before they build anything on it.

  • I spent time there in 1994 and 1996. It was really nice and I still have that big margarita's glass.,

Mauricio - Petropolis - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil.

  • wow...i cant believe they would blow up the hotel where elvis first performed!

  • I guess an airplane hit this one as well...

  • While the demolition was cool, it's a great shame to see a place with such a long history get ground to dust just like that.

  • reminds me of a certain demolition 9 years ago. Actually, the anniversary of it is coming up soon.

  • 9/11 style

  • It's Vegas. You might as well say goodbye to a Vegas landmark in style.

  • the fireworks are great

  • my mom and dad have bee there

  • " Uaauu Essa Foii dee Maiis !!! " I Loove Vegas...

  • That's definitely one of the more amazing implosions of a building I've ever seen! Sad to see a place with all the history the New Frontier Hotel had was torn down almost 3 years ago.

  • why did they implode this building

  • ull be so screwed if u were in that

  • Geez, what is with all the spams?! FUCK OFF ROULETTE

  • FAKE

  • wow look at all this spam... Only thing I loved more than implosion were the resulting car alarms. :P

  • I followed the advice on Roulette Secret and won 75 TRILLION dollars!!! I'm going to pay off the national debt!

    Thanks Roulette Secret!

  • Why all the celebration? This is the day that Vegas died.

  • I could'nt say it better myself.Thank you.

  • @MrNick200 your right

  • and even though this happened in 2007 the space is still empty

  • @bwayne6 I guess they did'nt want anybody trying to save it.disgusting.

  • most expensive fireworks display. ever.

  • two guys with fire extinguishers head into the dust to clean it up.

  • Never been to Vegas but what a cool sendoff it got :D

  • What-a-show, ladies and gentlemans, What a show!!

  • And 'bang' went some great memories! Played there on my first visit to Vegas in the 90's but the last time I played there, it was looking rough - still sad to see it go. Anyone know what they've replaced it with?

  • Terriost Attack!!

  • DAEDSPACEzone

    Commence fire!

  • is sound of war 0:47

  • very nice fireworks

  • BEST PART!! 1:34 !!

  • LOL! i heard a woman screm

  • Too noise! Alarms, fireworks, explosions! IT IS NIGHT, GYUS! PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING!

  • @werewolverine1 In Las Vegas, people never sleep.

  • @werewolverine1 Sleeping? Vegas is a 24/7 town. It never sleeps!

  • shit they could have just used the fireworks to demolish it

  • @murdaville100 True true!

  • the...Final Frontier!

  • That is awesome.

    Paid by your losing bets.

  • that is how you say goodbye to a building in Las Vegas. in another city it is whatever. Here, in Las Vegas they show some respect you can say

  • what is that building on the left fo the building?

  • i believe it's trump towers

  • @trackmaniakid27 I believe that's the Encore

  • too bad ! was a cool place !

at least the goodbye show was great for this hotel

  • Man, this makes me sad-- I loved that hotel!

  • @OCGirl521 I feel your pain this was the best classic hotels on the strip!!! R.I.P. The New Frontier..... Great memories.

  • @OCGirl521 Girl its a Casino.

  • @crazyjoel123 Thank you Captain Obvious!

  • it would be good if people would deactivate their car alarms if they know a building will implode soon.

  • what is going to be the replacement hotel?

  • Comment removed

  • Vegas knows how to take them down.

  • I remember when my dad gave me a casino coin that came from this hotel. Now I KNOW its rare!

  • Brilliantly done Nearly as neat as WTC 7

  • I slept there when I was two I think well that what my parent said. It now replace by Trump Towers.

  • two things which-unfortunately-rarely go together.

  • That was one of the most amazing displays of showmanship in blasting I have EVER seen.

  • sieg heil

  • @SoylentBlack1

    So true

  • las vegas: the rise of cloudzilla

  • lol, only in vegas do they throw a celebration b4 an implosion.

  • To the WTC theorists. I ask this: "Would any of you have this discussion if Bush WASNT in office?"

You've seen this video. Talk to the family that did it and hear his take on 9/11.

Logic seems to have escaped you. Then again, you're too mindless to see it.

  • Very, very similar like the September 11 attacks, specially with the buildings around the WTC.

  • @Joguecas

looks nothing like it. This one collapsed from one side to the other where wtc7 collapsed with the upper buidling completely intact.

  • thats stupid why they didn't make or rebuild this one

  • нишутя! О_О

  • Your a fucking idiot sonny black or whatever you call yourself

  • Went down like World Trade Centre building 7.

They must have used the same guys, since they put on a good show when they did that as well.

  • The good stuff starts at 1:10

  • STFU CREAMY SENSE U CUNT

  • love the countdown

  • Car alarms have ruined good fireworks shows. Every one i've gone to in the last ten years gets fucked up by some jackass that wont disarm the alarm on the car hes standing in front of or sometimes sitting on. Fuck I hate people.

  • get over it. so what if a car alarm goes off. you'll live. DAMN

  • KEWL.

  • explosion so strong that is setted off that car alarm

  • I remember walking past for years with strikers outside, I was beginning to think they were part of a show.

  • I wonder what happen to the famous Frontier sign- The tall neon cowboy who's are kepted giving the thumbs up? Probably in some junkyard somewhere.

  • Almost all the "old" vegas signs go to the sign boneyard where they are saved. There is a project now in progress to take those old signs, referubish them and install them in the center median of the strip. A few signs are up already.

  • its actually at a "neon boneyard" on the north strip. apparently thats where most of the hotels/casinos put their signs when theyre done with them.

  • misleading title. That was pussy.

  • how is it misleading

  • The new WYNN tower is watching this thinking this is what I have to look forward too

  • GREAT

  • I was there the boom was freaking loud

  • Being in vedas you know those car alarms are on piece of shit el caminos with no windows and a sound systemt worth 4 times the car value

  • they should have got a planes to drop water on the dust as a finale

  • what a send off love it

  • deficente di un cretino!

    shit

  • Hey ! This is the frist place Elvis play in Vegas.

  • If it's 65 years old, that means 1942 and that means lots of dull, tuneless music was played throughout the 40's in it--hubba hubba doodle doodle.

  • the building itself was 17. Built in 1990

  • Thanks! That's even worse--it didn't even get to see the 50's! Good riddance!

  • wow it was amazing that i saw ever

  • Why!!!!my first hotel and to say the best I've stayed at Vegas Is getting rid of the history it was a bit famous for....now I love sowntown plus four queens the strip will never be the same again lol noo!!!!

  • Sad...My wife and I had great times at that property...Sign of the times in LV-NV..

  • but what a way to go out eh?

  • I lived close enough that I could see some of the fireworks from my balcony, I went in when I "thought"it was over and my patio door shook! Kind of cool!

  • Where will Osama Bin Laden strike next?

  • belin l'ho visto in tv è bellissimo
