En effet CHOI est le gagnant du combat mais la faveur du jury revient a jerome pour son ancienneté dans le K-1 les juges ont suivi sa carriere depuis le début ca ne m'a pas étonné qu'il gagne. Le domination de choi parait peut etre evidente mais l'avantage revient a sa carrure de monstre et sa les juges prennent aussi en compte ce fait. Jérome se fait vieux c'était le dernier K-1 de sa carrière les juges lui ont rendu hommage en lui offrant la victoire!

Choi is not only tall, but he's extremely strong as well and atheletic for his weight and height. In K-1 being tall is a huge advantage (cfr Semmy Schilt). Some people think Choi won, but I think this has more to do with the poor quality of the video. Le Banner evaded most strikes from Choi; Choi fi threw three deadly knee, but Jerome moved out of the way and they missed the target.

He had it after 3 rounds, the extra round was much closer, he might have won that one based on his kicks alone.

Le Banner had the right idea. The way to beat a huge guy that has only been stopped once is with footwork, solid kicks to the legs(upper thigh) and busy, hard body punching. He just didn't execute it well and threw too many kicks to the body where Choi was catching them on his arms. Ernesto Hoost would have done it better and probably stopped him in the 2nd or 3rd.

When facing a taller opponent you only have 2 options, throw some kicks or get closer. The latest is very unsafe in K1 because in order to get closer you have to avoid many dangers. The kicks will hardly make you win by KO (it can though) and in a street fight you better get close, armed with your balls and the help of God if to finish the enemy quickly.
