In the Orthodox Church celibacy for Priest has never been an issue. Orthododoxy holds the truth in her cannons and teachings. AND BESIDES HOW CAN YOU EXCOMMUNICATE SOMETHING THAT IS NOT YOURS??? The never said they were Roman Catholic!!! There is salvation out side of Roman.
This video is a bit misleading. The discipline in the Latin Rite and a few other rites calls for celibacy but some rites do not. Why didn't these men looking into changing rites instead of being excommunicated? They could have become Melkites. In a strict sense, they are priest and bishops and they do have the power to really give the sacraments but they do so illicitly unless they reconcile with the rest of the Church.
it seems they do not know the importance of between divine law and sacraments instituted by Christ.
