  • "The Construction of the Modern Idiot"..... talking about the average working American... including myself....... how the f did it happen ? Where did it all go down the shitter..... ?

  • @Asburyfun The album is called "construction for the modern idiot" its a pun on the Idiot guide books you can buy and the tower blocks people live in . It has nothing to do with the USA .

  • they never fail to entertain live, seen them in nott's early this year and going again in dec at the O2

  • ¡Esta canción definitivamente es de mis favoritas!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this song was better sung live if you see the on the ropes concert it was amazing

  • ...this song is so incredibly cool and the video is so incredibly bad!

  • ...It's not as if this song comes on the radio(Which it totally should), so just about the only way you heard it was someone showing it to you personally or you searching it yourself. Did you notice how this has no dislikes?

  • This song should have made 'em bigger than U2.... Life (and the music industry) is just not fair!

  • @redpandagal I agree that this song is good and the music industry is not fair. But bigger than u2? They had numerous hits. These guys unfortunately did not have many.

  • Best song by them ever, went to see them recently when they were supporting The Levellers. Can't decide who were the best, both bands were amazing!

  • i went to see them last year at the 02 birmingham top band good night and got to see the twang. Big birmingham love which is rare.

  • i really like this one of there's ..i haven't heard it in ages

  • Great Song!

  • 大好きなバンドです。この曲もサイコ~

  • this band is really weak, everysong Ive heard is dull, they sound too american or something

  • @wheelworker1 How so?

  • @wheelworker1 have you got ears!!!!!!! weak dull n american wat a load of shit mate if it werent for a few bands such as the stuffies u would be listenin to simon cowell top 40!!! try its yer money im after baby if u dont like that i suggest u go back to listrnin to foreigner or some other tripe

  • @wheelworker1

That's right. American music sucks. Rock and roll was the worst thing to ever happen to music.

  • @wheelworker1 yeah is that right, cos america know about suffering and hardship and the likes and can make real heart felt and good music about it? Oh yeah of course they do they cause most of it!! Sounds american! ha i've not heard such crap in a long time!

  • an appauling promo!!!! ok its not 1 of the 11 but im sure someone gets it

  • @MrMawsy If it's in the context of a 16 year-old seeing this on the Chart Show in 1993 and really quite liking the idea of Miles drenched with water, it was a very good promo indeed.

  • Are Wonderstuff still exist?

  • Yep

  • @dafindam yep, have been to see them a few times :)

  • Great comeback single!

  • This is a truly fantastic song and very thoughtful lyrics! What a line "The modern idiot is here and plain to see". Good message to all mass produced crap pop...

  • great nostalgia invades me... :´)

  • The band at their very best. Filmed here just a few months before imploding. Lovely people.

    xx

  • Wonderful song, inspired by Charles Bukowski's stories I believe. I quite like the low budget style of the video, the Stuffies hated doing videos so this was probably one of the more fun ones for them.

  • The video is a bit strange but I love the song :)

  • The video looks more like a ned's video.

  • This is excellent and underrated!

The Wonderstuff is yet another amazing english band making stunning anthems!
