You and your voice overs, amazing how you make them fit pretty damn well. I think you could of added more to them personality wise if you had read them at different speeds. Like with Violin's, where's his text came out so slow, made him seem to talk slow and as the opposite with Agile. But hey, it's just a suggestion. XD

I might have to disagree with you on this one, Serenia. I believe MMX3 is the best of the series with X2 and X4 both closely tied for 2nd. Of course X5-6 are the worst so we won't go into that and X1 was probably the prototype/pilot of the series so that's why it's ok but not great.

Now X3 is so great because it takes what X2 has and adds to it:

Instead of having the 4 armor upgrades similiar to X2, you now have the 4 enhancement upgrades even though they are worthless if you know how to get the Ultimate Armor.

You still have to get all 8 heart tanks and 4 subtanks but in addition there are also the ride armor upgrades. Even though they play a minor role in the game, I still think they are cool.

The levels are all pretty good and unique. The bosses are pretty good, maybe some are alittle easy compared to X2. I actually feel X2 was probably the hardest, minus X3's final boss.

X3 has the midbosses plus they bring back Vile who is pretty bad ass.

And last of course: you get to play as Zero, my hero :)

x5 and x6 has some of the hardest bosses in the whole series. shadow devil and Gate!!! Gate is easly one of the top 3 hardest boss ever.

I usually fight Overdrive Ostrich first...for some reason for me it's easier to beat him then Wire Sponge...or go with Wheel gator first...I mean wire sponge's weapon makes him go under the water. Whenever I fight him I usually don't have the legs upgrade. So you can go wheel gator, then overdrive ostrich(Legs upgrade) go to wheel gator stage and get blaster upgrade then go fight fire sponge.

X2 is my favorite MegaMan X game, Serenia! Make sure you do it justice. ;) Doing a 100% run means no awesome pre-final boss fight, but I can deal with that. By "certain secrets", do you mean THE secret?

I was extremely impressed by this game when I played through it about a year ago for the first time. Usually I'm not impressed by sequels but I had a great time with this one. I like Wire Sponge's music, the bosses all have cool names too. I mean, Flame STAG? Nice. Wheel Gator is cool too. I almost changed my name on Deadawaken to Wheel Gator just 'cause of that.

X2 is a fun game and all but I think the music was a little weak. It may just be my opinion but the music for the original X beats this ones hands down. As for challenge, yeah this is way harder then the original. But if you ever want to see a HARD video some guy has a time attack video of beating X1 & X2 simultaneously with one controller (two emulators at once).

I've always wondered: What do those glass orbs do? I didn't notice any difference whether you shoot them or leave them alone. I looked up GameFAQs, and it said I need a special item for those, but it didn't say what the weapon was.

only thing I know aobut um is if you hit um with certain weapons it'll change the weather, if you use Bubble crabs weapon it'll cause it to rain, Flame stags causes a heat wave, and I think crystal snails freezes the orb negating the weather entirely I could be wrong though

You got the crystal snail part right actually, as for the other things, I never knew about those before. BTW, I didn't get a chance to play this game until the X collection and would like to know some of the uses to weapons that may not be obvious to some. Since all MM and MMX games force you to get weapons to beat them, I like trying to use them so they don't go to waste. But sometimes, I can't find anything useful to do with them that doesn't involve puzzle solving.

I belive this got rereleased on the Game Boy Color with the addition of Zero. I might be wrong, but the intro stages looked fairly similar.

You might be referring to Mega Man Xtreme 2 which was released on teh GBC which was like a fusion of X1 and X2 (It had 4 bosses from x1 and x2 I believe)
