It's weird...whenever I play, it never says anything about Lucien approaching until I kill Ungolim. He just pops up in my face the instant I wake up.

Well, except when I do "Through a nightmare, darkly" after I've killed Rufio. Then he takes his time walking up the stairs so I can speak with the elf dude before him. But still, it doesn't say anything about him approaching me.

Here's an easy way to make easy money in OBLIVION. Go to the Mystic Emporium in the Imperial City. Buy 1 Chamalon scroll and 10 Absorbe fatigue. Double click Absorb fatigue then drop your Chamalon. Then 10 chamalon will drop. Sell 9, then keep doing it. Trust me I made 20k in 10 mins.

You need to kill someone innocent e.g. someone that wouldn't attack you on sight. Then, you sleep in a bed, so Lucien Lachance will visit you. Finally, assassins are crap. Become a warrior (melee) character if it's your first few games, or become a mage. Mages are a lot harder at the start to use, but become EXTREMELY powerful, especially if you do all the Mages Guild recommendation quests and gain access to the Arcane University.

no. get bitten by a vampire, or eventually the vampire in the sanctuary will offer to bite you.

if you get hit by a vampires weapon, you will be given the desiese, you can cure it quite quickly with cure desiese potion. if you leav it you will become a vampire. you are hurt quite badly if you go out in daylight well yeaa.....

because if you start a fight, the guards always find you, get a better weapon and a higher sneak skill, if you do those and sneak up on an enemy it should do a 6x damage critical... which is usually a 1 hit kill and no guards come

you level up by raising your main skills

and the speed at wich these skills raise is always the same.

battles may last longer but the skill leveling speed is a given constant by bethseda
