It is aggressively argued that any attempt to cap India's nuclear strategic capabilities will immensely benefit both China and Pakistan. Who, may we ask, is vigorously pursuing this Indo-US nuclear deal which, as is well-known, will limit India's strategic capacities, thus, providing advantage to our neighbours? Could we, then allege that those promoting this deal are acting at the behest of China and Pakistan?

The profit bonanza to multinational corporations is there for all to see with the attendant benefits to sections of corporate India. Those who are willing to eagerly surrender India's sovereignty to US imperialism will do well to refrain from offering unsolicited advise and certificates of patriotism.

Well done Prakash Karat. If the N-Deal can be exposed to foreigners, it can definitely be, and must be, exposed to Indians. Pranab Mukherjee's argument citing secrecy is absolute hogwash.
Even the most respected newspapers like The Times of India, The Telegraph, The Statesman and The Hindu have questioned the PM, Dr. Singh's refusal to present the Draft of the Treaty to the Parliament and the Public. BJP and Left will become stronger in the next elections, at Congress' expense.

Indian muslims support the nuclear deal in the name of national interest, but the communists are trying to instigate muslims to go against the deal !! How nasty these communists are ?? Some of the muslim leaders openly voice concern over communists intention to drag muslims into this !! Chinese are paying indian communists well !! some stupid indian scientists are getting good pay from china too !! Like Dr Iyengar, Gopalakrishnan !!

If they care about masses so much, then majority is Hindu , and all Hindus will support this nuclear deal.Democaracy is all about whats good for majority, and this nuclear deal will be beneficial to all Indians , no matter what religion they follow.

Its a bad situation. Without knowing too much about the deal and the 123 agreement. I agree with Mr. Parthasarthy, something which Pakistan is opposing so vehemently and which causes China and Pakistan to gang up against India can't be that bad.
