Agreed 110 percent! His legacy will never die. When I first heard he died I didn't really react, I was so dumbstruck. I think it first really hit me at his memorial service. I cried that the world had lost a true original, and one of my heroes.
I was totally heartbroken when he died. I heard the news and it felt like the whole world had collapsed because I came home and my mom was sitting in front of the t.v. and all at once I got the feeling that something was terribly wrong. When she told me I'm pretty sure I went off to my room and bawled. It was truly the worst day of my life. When you've watched his show for about ten years or so you start to get attached and when he died it felt like being run over by a train.
Man, I remember when I was five and I loved to watch him all the time. Every time a new episode with him came on I would be sitting in front of the television. I'm gonna miss him because he was my hero and a great guy. You don't see many people with that kind of passion for animals nowdays. R.I.P. Steve.
It still brings me to my knees everytime I think of him, he was my hero and at one point my world as a child. He was one of a kind and there will never be another man like him. I miss him sooo much!

I've always wanted to work with animals, i've always wanted the job he had. Even though he's from Australia and I'm from Minnesota, He's inspired me in so many ways, you can tell he loved his job. He died doing what he loved to do. Dont mourn his death, celebrate his life.

I loved Steve Irwin So much, he was my hero, for ever. He always will be. He was amazing what he did for animals was greater then what some of us do for our friends, that it self deserves praise. I can't believe it was 2006, i don't know honestly how i got over it. May god bless your soul steve.
