i remember being really confused when the boys in my middle school wouldnt stop calling each other "dog". I dont know how it started but thankfully it wasnt so popular after that year. Another word that I got tired of hearing (this is more recent:last few years) is the word "epic". There was a period of time where apparently everything was epic.
