I miss the wrestling, the characters and the edginess the most, but I agree that the commentating is way worse too. Heenan and Monsoon were the best I think. Watch WM8 throughout, thats when they were at their best.

Lord Alfred Hayes added so much to the show back then. For some reason there's this dignified British gentleman on commentary, adding legitimacy to the show, but he's also getting really excited about the matches.

And he and Heenan were comedy gold together. 13 years of great commentary in the WWF, I hope they put him in the hall of fame one day.

everyone complains about the wrestlers now a days, and i totally agree with that. but i really miss the commentating of the past more than the actual wrestling. Heenan Mooney Hayes the Body McMahon and pretty much everyone else before WM9 are far superior to who is around now. But i must say that Heenan is the all time best. Fav comment was i think royal rumble and piper was at the table and heenan says that piper used to come hom from school and find out his parents had moved
