GH3 is more of a challenge. Plus GH3 was made before GHSH so it's gonna be difficult.

The slide bar was a stupid invention because it took the challenge out of guitar hero.

I like GH3 version much better.

Difficulty-wise, I'm not sure. However, GH 3's chart doesn't have any slide sections (sections which you can just tap, even if you miss), unlike Smash Hits.

I'm not a fan of the rope notes. You can just slam your fingers all over the place during those sections and still not miss a thing. I'd say you really haven't beat TTFAF til you beat it on GH3

Controller users would argue against that. I have a friend who can pass TTFAF on Expert using a Standard Controller and unable to (at least, I think so) beat it on Smash Hits. Oh and...if you don't believe me about my friend, and you have a gamertag on Xbox live, I'll check that he doesn't mind whether or not I post his gamertag on here, and direct you to him to see it for yourself.

There's no way to pass TTFaF on a standard controller for Smash Hits. It is physically impossible. Even someone that could FC TTFaF, or even TDWDtG, on a standard controller for GH3, couldn't do it for Smash Hits. The reason for this? You can't use a standard controller for anything past GH:A.

GH: SH version i find much harder to 5 star then the GH: 3 version Imo, because of parts like 1:30 and 2:55 so annoying not have hammerons there. Combo Breakers FTL :(

i think they're definetely are some parts made easier in ghsh. but the chart it general doesnt even go with the song and the fact that there are almost no hammer ons between fast picking sequences makes it fucking stupid. activision is just pissed that so many more people can perfect gh; 3 ttff and wanna make it truly impossible to do so.
