Look Pal, I have been in the LDS temple & they DO DO THAT STUFF.

In Joe Smiths day it was a free for all for abuse, manipulation, exploitation, brainwashing, indoctrination, molestation, and even some mutilation.

To be completely honest you should mention that the Masonic "blood oath" penalties (pantomiming slitting your throat, disemboweling etc.) were removed from the LDS Temple ceremony in April of 1990. Mormons today no longer perform them in the Temples. But for over 140 years they were part of the Endowment Ceremony.
