This is different from the other series, "Negima!" which followed the manga more, but due to how long the manga is, has a gecko ending. Neither series has anything to do with each other (aside from the characters). Each series has it's own canon and continuity. That is why the title of the two series are different (the other series is titled "Negima!" and this series is titled "Negima!?").

This is much much better than "season 1." Why is this called deason 2 anyway? This one is actually based off the original manga anyway. That's what they get for creating an anime for a manga that hadn't really took off running. Mass confusion.

Of course, the only thing i miss from "season 1" Is the theme song. The only things i don't like about this one are the inaccuracy of Asuna's eye color and the constant frame rearranging. Hurting my eyes...
