  • Nice vid, very accessible - I like the underlying groove in the jam section! Thanks, mate!

  • Damn man, you're a beast on drums!

  • Yea you will be getting the software real soon knowing you. What do you have in mind for your first video back? i am sure all your fans would like to know. : ) i love you Bazy!

  • Wow ! i love the whole pimp out your original artwork at the beginning baby : ) I do love that piece. I am sitting at work missing you so, I thought I would get on her and watch some of your videos. Who was calling you at the end? I like how you left that in lol. I looked back and about 8 months ago you said you were going to make a new video. I am still waiting. Now you have that kickass computer there should be one real soon right? I love you Bazy!

  • @BazyBeatsWife I dont really remember who it was now on the phone at the end. I think that somewhere along the line someone asked that question and I may have answered it in an earlier post here. I am glad you like the artwork and I am glad that you love me. I will be following up with some new videos real soon. I have the computer but not the software. BzB :-)

  • Hey, i'm completely new to drums but i really want to start. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend on a drum kit ($500AUS) but i don't know whether to go acoustic or electric. I was thinking about buying a cheap acoustic and upgrade the important parts as i get more money, but is it better just to do the same thing with an electric?

Also, any tips on what's a decent e-kit to start with?

    Thanks in advance :)

  • @BoxingBill93 This is the Roland TD20...it is about 6 years old now. There are newer versions out than what I have in this video. Those are running close to $7,000.00. My kit runs about $4,000.00. But in this video I am using extra stuff. I have pads from another kit on here in addition to the ones that normally come with the kit.

    BzB :-)

  • Great

  • rythums off a bit

  • Super

  • Your a good drummer but the kit deserves someone who can PLAY IT

  • Hey great beat and all but i think you should use your toms more. Not a criticism, just an idea. But the drumming is excellent.

  • stop talking so much and do just your stuff your awesome go man! RESPECT

  • Holy shit u are good!!!

  • @bazybeats dude you have wife and kids? because if u dont and u have a good work it must be the heaven of music!! spend all money in house & music stuff! that must be great lol :D

  • Dam phone! ruins everything!

  • hey, i was thinking about buying an electric setup just for practice instead of only using my acoustic, this really cleared my mind and helped with the process... after seeing ur skill level and the amount needed to play an electric setup i have just bought a kit,

    thanks so much

  • @Skinnydude31 Wow...cool!!!

  • Hey, just wanted to say that your videos are entertaining and informative, and I hope you don't waste too much time replying to all the negative comments...especially when you could be using your time to make more drum videos! thanks, and keep up the good drumming

  • Awesome video! Im looking at td20 with all the goodies on craigslist for $2700, do you think this is a good price? What should i offer?

  • i think that you are puting to much effort to play

  • to muct talk

    just play man

  • yeah i thought it was really good

  • tbtron500 you noob! V drums own!! you can do much more and learn alot quicker with them then with a normal acoustic set..

  • @MrFunnyfication Noob?? I have been playing 22 years and Bazy sucks and anyone who thinks other wise is a total idiot. Like you!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @tbtron5000 @tbtron5000 i've been playing for 6 years and i bet i kick ur ass at drumming! even adults tell me i pown at it (drummers).

but whatever dude say what you wanna say i think V-drums own (only Roland)!

    so shut up!

  • @MrFunnyfication That's good. Study hard, stay in school and maybe one day you will learn that real drums feel and sound so much better. If not, have fun playing them at the crappy bars Bazy plays. At least play original music not crappy covers, because you have no real skill to write a song.

  • @tbtron5000 first those 2 things (goin to school and then ...) have nothing to do with eachother. second i play both (V and acoustic) and third acoustic is good but V is better.. at my age i don't need to write songs and i dont care to, it's just about the drums.

  • @MrFunnyfication Stay in school and learn so one day you will be able to comprehend that joke about staying in school. Stay in schooll!!!!!!

  • @tbtron5000 sry dude but that just failed for life...

  • @MrFunnyfication Thing is jokes on you, so of course it wouldn't be funny. Stay in school!

  • beautiful drum kit and you're really good to play it!!!

  • @rezzomaticAnd Bazy wow, you shut me up didn't you??? Yeah, setting up mics to get a real sound of the drums is stupid. It's might opinion 1. that v drums suck 2. you and Bazy both suck equally. Bazy, the only one who lacks creativity is you!! Cover bands are the epitome of lack of creativity.

  • Awsome, thank you for your videos and time

  • Comment removed

  • @tbtron5000 Wow...are you jealous or what? Second video in one night that you have flamed. I do play plenty of acoustic kits...have several vids up of it. I will play what I want when I want. You still have to have talent to play electronic drums, but get this...you also have to have a creative mind to make it worth your time...maybe that is why you dont like them...you lack creativity and ability to think outside the box. BzB :-)

  • @bazybeats Ownage! You rock man!

  • Comment removed

  • @tbtron5000 dunt matter weather they are electric or acoustic u are talented no mater what kit u play electric drums are easier to hook up when recording and can be almost compleatly silent

  • @tbtron5000 dont be a hater lol. They are nice for apartments and places where an acoustic set is too loud. But it doesnt make you any less of a drummer, saying that just makes you look stupid.

  • @WZW1982 And you made yourself look stupid by writing "don't be a hater lol". If I look stupid in front of the idiots who think this vid is good or people who think Vdrums "own" I don't really care. You and your stupid french air force video on your page can go to Vdrum hell!!!! I cast thee.

  • @tbtron5000 digging pretty hard for a come back there lol, i dont really check out other peoples youtube pages but i dont see how my fav's has anything to do with it. If you didnt care about looking stupid in front of us "idiots" then why did you reply? obviously it means something for you to get the "last word" in so you can feel like you are superior in some way to the other people who made comments. Insecure? Low self esteem? Want people to think you're awesome? lol funny stuff.

  • WHEW! My Goodness,That was Jammin!

  • you are the most talented guy i have ever seen playing on drums.

youre blessed with this talent, keep the videos coming. im never tired of seeing you showing your talent.

    Yarden, Israel.

  • hallo i em from germani .ju video is soooo supper .i bleing e drum (roland td 4) i em beginner.sorri me englisch is not god.mfg

  • You'd Probably go for the Roland TD - 4 Or TD - 9 Depending on what you want, they are both great kits, the TD 9 being the better choice. I've been playing for 6 years and i have a TD 9 and it's just great :), i have an acoustic kit as well but the TD 9 is excellent with triggering and picking up notes :D. They cost about $1500 the TD - 9's maybe less in america :), hope i helped.

  • You sir are truly talented. Watched a few of your vids, you seem like a genuinely nice guy.

Thanks for taking the time to record each vid :)

  • What an awesome comment to wake up to today. Thanks for taking time to write. BzB :-)

  • how did you connect the two brains so that they both give out sound to an amp

  • I use a mixing board. I plug both brains into the board and then that mixes them into one input going into the amp. At the time I was using a Samson MDR8. I have since stepped up to an MDR16. I have all of my instruments plugged into it. BzB :-)

  • @bazybeats Hey love your vids, had a quick question, what in your opinion ( NOT EVERYONE ELSE lol ) is the best bang for the buck elec set?

  • you should do a vid on the acoustic drums

  • check out the rest of my vids...I have plenty of shots with acoustic drums. BzB ;-)

  • Yea...I dont have that phone any more...I miss it. BzB ;-)

  • Hello..?

    Nice Work Dude.

  • Hey...thanks...BzB :-)

  • haha nice groove:)

  • i like how you just get on it and get to work, big ups to you man

  • What do you think looks better, the ones that you have [ the white color, looks a bit more realistic] or the black ones that are rubber looking?

  • Well...the ones I have are called Mesh Head. Of course I think the ones I have are better...they have somewhat of a realistic feel whereas the back rubber is not at all realistic. BzB :-)

  • i'm way better and my drum kit is smaller

  • Bla Bla Bla and Nanny Nanny Boo Boo...what a childish remark.

    BzB :-)

  • what recording interface are you using? are you experiencing a bit of latency problems?

you have really good toys by the way, i wish i have those.. :)

  • wtf is bzb lol

  • WTF Is KNGBMN LOL

  • Nice music :) Where I can find full version ...

  • awesome music man!

  • can i ask you a question>? I have just brought a TD-20 and i am having problems with the double bass pedal i brought, i can't lock in onto my bass drum without it hitting the bass rim itself...very annoying...ever come across it?

  • happened on my kit.

    i just modded my clamp.

put a piece of metal in between into it.

  • * i put a piece of metal between it.

    lol typingfail

  • Woot! awesome.

  • Man, come to Spain to do a concert!

  • If I thought I could actually pull it off, I would.

    BzB :-)

  • you're bald

  • Your perceptive...and highly socially inept. Once you look those words up and realize where you stand with me then hit me back so I can deliver an intellectual slap to your silly face.

    BzB :-)

  • ROFL your funny... but you are almost bald 8-)

  • Hahahahaha...............Nope.

    BzB :-)

  • Your not funny or your not almost bald?

  • Really? is there anyone out here today that is past 6th Grade. This is the typical stuff I hear every day in Middle school?

  • I'm not even Grade 1 :( But i don't play drums :P I play guitar instead :)

  • Well you are way ahead of most of the kids your age then...you are already acting like a middle schooler...

That is also good that you are starting to play music so young too...and you spell better than a lot of 6th graders...awesome.

    BzB :-)

  • I just finished high school (in england) but wait.... i thought you meant musically grades. In england we use years (year 1 - 5 years old, year 11 - 16 years old). But i spell better than most people my age anyway XD

  • Yea...that is the way things are in the USA as well. Many are graduating High School and still cannot write.

    BzB :-)

  • I never even went to school XD

  • Lol but he is right :).

No offence man. Nice toyzz :)

  • Really? is there anyone out here today that is past 6th Grade. This is the typical stuff I hear every day in Middle school?

  • stupid phone ;)

    Do you actually produce music?

(not as in selling cds or something but just making music)?

  • I do have original music that I record here in my studio. The studio now sports a 32 track recording system so I have been having a lot of fun. It is time to update this video. BzB :-)

  • Who! Ur drum is like a second god! Ur a good drummer :)

    Gr. Robin

  • Sorry i did not see your post until now...Thanks for the complements. BzB :-)

  • can you hook up Mp3 players to the td 12 or td 20 interface like you can the HD1. would be stoopid not to be able to.

  • I dont think you can...I have never seen a port for it...but then again...the TD20 is set up for pro playing...I have never found a need for anything other than stereo inputs. It is not like you would be setting these up in a back room and jamming while you are on the road. You play them on stage or in your regular practice place. BzB :-)

  • Shame. But still as long as you can record with Pro logic or another rec program you can play the song you made while drumming.

  • Exactly...

    BzB :-)

  • Awesome drumming by the way ^^. If only I had the money I would buy one ;/

  • microkorg is a toy, get a real synth

  • I think someone is jealous...BzB :-)

  • i've got an ms2k. not jealous of your mini keys or lack of sequencer.

  • I guess you did not notice the Triton Extreme...as if that were even an issue now that my studio sports a Roland Fantom G7. But I am sure your ms2k is better right? BzB :-)

  • knobs are better than menus any day.

  • hey bazy i was just wondering i have an acoustic set and maybe want to get some td 20s but do u need a amp or anything for the sound if u dont use head fones right back thanks bro

  • Yes...you do need a sound system to get sound out of the e-kits without using headphones. I use my home stereo system to listen to mine when I am not on headphones. BzB :-)

  • O ok thanks for the tip keep rockin bro

  • PIMP set-up man. I wish I still had my rolands.

  • HOLY MOLY DUDE!!! this is like the best drum video it really makes me want to buy an electric drum kit.

Very nice playing and good rythm!!! I am definately going to subscribe :)

  • Thanks for the comment bro. I am slow these days at getting to some of these comment...sorry it took so long to respond.

    BzB :-)

  • How muck wer drums

  • That kit is the TD20 $5,500 and I added a bunch of other pads and an additional brain...total about 7 or 8 thousand dollars. BzB :-)

  • U ARE SINGLE THEN I TAKE IT BZB?

  • Yep...I still have not found the right Mrs. Bazy....BzB :-)

  • what is the rebound like on the pads? is it like an acoustic snare?

  • Well...it is a bit springier...but close to the same as a snare...it is when you get to the lower drums that you start to see a big difference...because all the drums are as bouncy as the snare. If you attempt to loosen the other drums to match a real kit then you risk doing damage to the internal workings of the drum. BzB :-)

  • thanks bazy for blowing up my P.A.

you ow me a new one lol :-)

  • Sorry about the PA bro...I guess I will have to put a warning label on this vid. :-)

Thanks for the comment. BzB :-)

  • wow. you amaze me in every video you post. i want you to know that i am originally a guitarist and i am starting to get into drumming and you are one of my big inspirations to start drumming. how long have you been playin?

  • I have been playing since 1980...so in September it would be 29 years. I have been tapping on stuff since I was about 7 years old though. BzB :-)

  • how much was that beast?! like 20grand?

  • No...the electric drum kit was 5,500 for the six piece kit and I added about another 1,000 worth of pads and a grand in specialty hardware and such. The extra brain was about 1,500...so altogether it was about 9,000. BzB :-)

  • wich bank did you rob just kiddin

  • Ha ha...yea...I just spend every spare dime I have on my equipment. Sometimes I look at it and wonder what else I could have done with all that money...Now the room has twice the amount of stuff in it actually and I am still scratching my head. BzB :-)

  • buying gear is like an addiction hahaha

  • So true...so very true...but ya know...I went into the music store last week and I did not feel compelled to buy anything at all. I looked around for about an hour and I realized...damn...I think I have everything that I want...I am actually good. BzB :-)

  • well i envy you!

  • Dude! This is awesome setup! Awesome playing too! I noticed that you have a KD-120 as well? Do you use the felt beater tip or rubber on the KD120? Thanks and keep up the great play :-)

  • thanks for the comment. The kit is a TD-20. Originally I had been using the felt side...I had some beaters that were friendly with the mesh heads...but once that was gone...I have never seen another felt beater that did not eat up the head...so I use the plastic now. BzB :-)

  • Thanks BzB :-)

  • dope shit

  • Thanks...BzB :-)

  • You Are Awesome Man! ! !. keep playing cause you can only get better.

  • Thank you. BzB :-)

  • nice set up man, be at one with music!

  • Yes...absolutely...thank you for the comment. BzB :-)

  • Man, I love your setup.

  • It is way better now. I have a Roland Fantom G7 keyboard to add to my collection plus we have put in an entire 32 track recording system...bought mics and everything...we can record anything here in this room now. Thanks for stopping in. BzB :-)

  • nice quick question how much did your drums cost?

  • I spent $5000 for it when it came out...they have gone up since then.

    BzB :-)

  • Nice dude....I just got a Yamaha DTXpress (with the gum rubber pads) and I can already tell that I'm gonna have to invest in some of these Roland pads with the mesh heads. That's a cool little jam, I love watching drummers in their creative process.

  • Thanks for the comment. You may enjoy my "Workout" vids...they show me working on new beats as I am making them up, trying new things and such...I left the mistakes in. BzB :-)

  • ive watched alot of your vids and this one was least impressive. I know for a fact you are a better drummer than i am, but i can play along to this pretty easily.

    No Offense m8,

    -Nick.

  • Hey Nick, no offense taken...but you have to understand that I am not setting out to just be an impressive drummer. Sometimes not trying to be impressive on drums will get you the job. In my band, most of the time I just play standard beats and keep the meter. It is not always about flashy playing. In this vid I am just showing that I can put together songs quickly with the equipment I have. BzB :-)

  • play them more

  • i would just like it if you played the real thing cuz its just more easier for me to enjoy

  • I have pleanty of vids that show me playing acoustic drums. Look around on my channel page and see what you see. BzB :-)

  • other than that it wuz good

  • What kind of complement is that...first you bash me and then you try to recover...I am not impressed. BzB :-)

  • hey computer nerd play a real set

  • hahahaa awsome how do you have a td8 and td20 modem on the same kit? by the way, i have a td3 and we put mesh heads on it and it looks like a td-9 but is a peice of crap... what do i do?

  • I just put the two heads on the one kit and run different pads to each brain. I am not sure what to tell you to do with your kit to be honest with you...you should probably save up and get what you really want. BzB :-)

  • That isnt so hard right(jam) , but the equipment is very nice

  • Yea...this beat is very easy to do...just a little thing I threw together in a few minutes...the keyboard part included...it was all easy...It is like most parts to most songs...I have a lot of music on my MySpace page that is the same way...but it sounds good. BzB :-)

  • nice stuf man! i've got to get me one of those sequencers:D but how do you record it for youtube? because its a real nice little jam but it sort of gets wasted by the sound quality

  • Yea...I had been recording straight from the speakers in the room right into the camera mic. In my newer vids I have progressed to using recording systems and all kinds of good stuff...the sound quality of the vids is improving...I will re-record this particular ditty that I did on this vid at some point. BzB :-)

  • That would be cool! im looking forward to it :-)

  • Thanks...It will be on the list. BzB :-)

  • Is making music your daily job or are yo rich?:P

It's quite expensive equipment you've standing there

  • I have a day job...I am a school teacher...I play music at night or on the weekends. Just save up and spend my money on my favorite thing in the world. BzB :-)

  • great tune! make the drums more trashy, put some flanged hard-core guitar and ill get you the fans! nice job ;)

  • I will keep that in mind for the next one. Thanks for commenting. BzB :-)

  • the start of the song sounded like industrial metal \m/

Now You Just need a guitar with a nice distor and your ready to go :P

    nice Jam!

  • Thanks for the feedback Vic. I always appreciate you bro. BzB :-)

  • Yo man, nice vid, ive got the TD-3 with the TD 9 frame, been playing a month, am a HUGE!!!! Dream Theater fan. Thats a sweet set-up you have there!

Did you link the kits together or are they just seperate but playing through the same amp or something?

  • I could have done it either way...I could have used a Midi cable to get them to run one another or I could just run them separate but to one amp...I chose the later. BzB :-)

  • I have a question: Are electric drums "hit sensitive" or whatever you call it? Like if you hit it soft, it will give a quieter sound and if you hit it hard it will make a louder sound.

  • Most of them now days are. BzB :-)

  • ok thanks

  • awesome man. was that improv or..

  • I went over it a couple of times before I shot the vid. Now...if you want to see straight improv then watch my "Workout" vids...that shows me doing my daily practice jams with mistakes and all. BzB :-)

  • Here's some strange shit for you all: When I play on an electric kit I get really bored!

  • You should stick to acoustic then...Stay Happy...and keep drumming. BzB :-)

  • Hey Great Jam!!!!Have You Tought Of Making It Into A MP3???
