I need to post more videos of Jojo. Of all other amazons I've seen, Poncho has the closest in appearance, voice and behavior. Jojo chats just like that anytime a woman is on the phone. Mostly ending with "Okay, bye bye." She matches the conversation attitude and even laughs at the right time. Jojo is 41 now. She even uses tools like Poncho. Glad to see Poncho is a well loved parrot. They are more like family than pets.

OMG! Our DYH makes the same mumbling voices occasionally , but usually when awake. We thought she was possessed by aliens! lol Is that they're language? Its very erie when she does it. I had no idea other ones did it too.

She also sings opera louder than a megaphone, and I've seen another DYH sing the same way. How do they all know these voices when never around each other?

Poor guy. Most of our parrots just conk out where they are. My conure always fell asleep on my neck. I never wanted to wake Kirk up so I had to stay there and get a stiff neck so I didn't disturb him. If I did he'd make these funny, quiet reptilian squeals.

Poncho is a really cool parrot! He's very funny, and I love to see how WELL you take care of him. So many people have parrots, and they're not properly cared for. At the zoo that I volunteer at, we have a double-headed amazon too, his name is sam and he was rescued from a bar! He hates men because of it, and he has an awful mouth! You have an amazing bird!
