This song was written by John Lennon and intended to be a descent into mysticism and for it he went through the process of manually supplying 30 tape loops of noises and music pieces to assemble a spiritual theme. This "punk rock" cover or whatever has no resemblance or purpose to the original and anyone who says "fuck Beatles" or this is better is a typical youtube user, a twat that knows nothing about music and instead winnies about thumbs down rating, as they say in Ireland, feck off.
Great rendition done by these people......I don't know about the kaleidoscope, all I ever visioned was shimmering, stretching melting glass, good as long as it isn't yer first trip on a city bus.
Ya know, I had always known the Beatles did this song - but when I heard this cover in The Craft I had no idea it was Our Lady Peace. xD They just got a lot cooler.
wow if you didn't know the beatles were the original group to write and perform this song, then brush up on your music history. goddamn, don't comment if you are musicaly ignorant.
efforts like this keep the fire inside well stoked!

The instrumental trax are great. Dont care for the vocals. Sounds like they scooped the original trax in the background.

That's weird. I have sound.
Boowitch13 2 years ago
IT's back. That was weird. I was watching and listening and it stopped for a bit and then there was no sound. Probably a glitch!
Reminds me of a trip I went on back in the day. (ha ha)
Love it! Thanks.

Reminds me of that, too.LOL
Yes, I survived the 70's.... my guardian angel was there for me several times
( seriously).If she wasn't I don't think I'd be here right now.
Boowitch13 2 years ago
Yes, I wore out a few guardian angels, lol. I know I wouldn't still be here.
Have a great Memorial Day! Thanks.
