Thanks for making a new blog! You rock! Thanks for the support! making new blogs and putting new videos on this weekend. I am settled in! Whoo Hooo ! Thanks again for this video!
Baby, do you remember that day in the park in the field? I just want you to know that this video expresses exactly how it felt to touch you, to kiss you, to talk to you... I will always love you dearly and sincerely, and miss you, bubba, and sissy, in a way that words simply cannot describe, I love you Mary
HMMMM??? I am Gay /Homosexual and he is in the country in the video??? No banjo... might be just wonderful and you a closed minded person! You took the time to write something... why not something intelligent!
Yeah you sound so great! Do you even play an instrument? Dude I do! Shut the heck up! You are a homophob who probably lacks something someone else does not want! Great music and you need to go to bed before your mom gets mad!
in the house you look at each other. this is the song that makes you remember why you are together in the first place all the good times. And even in that moment of resenting the feeling of not being able to live without that person, you smile and laugh and cry because that is what REAL LOVE is. the movies are good, they stories are fun, but the real, the real is always worth it if you can remember how good the beginning was, and you grow your beginning throught the relationship...Trust.
What a great sentiment..I always looked at this song, in relating lyrics to my own experiences whether they were the intent of the writer to convey or not, like the epilogue to a dead relationship. It aches, that looking back over what turned into a rotting mess, and daring that person you're now over and will never "have" again to look back and admit, hey, it was good in the beginnning. --Wish I didn't still think of you when I hear this song, Ms. So-And-So. Then again, maybe that's okay.--
So agree wit you! I first heard this song in the car with the love of my life of 10 years when we were beginning to split.... bawled my eyes out because it resonated so deeply...
I can't believe the album this song is from is almost 6 years old already. Where does the time go?
I first heard of Pete on the TV show Smallville. Back in the early 00's Smallville was on the cutting edge of new music. Sad to say the last couple seasons not so much. : (
Actually on Pete Yorn's Live from New Jersey album, he says that someone accused him of ripping off a Cat Stevens song for Crystal Village. He replies with, "that's bullshit. I would never rip off Cat Stevens...I ripped off Wilco with this one...a song called She's a Jar." And then he even plays the intro to She's a Jar to show how it was indeed inspired by Wilco. I never noticed the similarity until he pointed them out and played them together. Both beautiful songs.
Hey.. It's sounds like "father & son" by Cat Steven in the reff part. Well, it's seems like that, The father is Steven & the son is Pete, but only in the musical business not blood related though, hehe. Btw, my birthday is the same as pete, but different year, he's in '72 while I'm in '82 and he has sharper nose than mine, hehehe
yeah, i hear 'shes a jar' in this, but not really 'father and son', still, its an awesome song. a folky i know once said 'theres only a limited number of tunes out there so don't fee lguilty about writing something to someone else's song'
that is seriously your response to this video??! you are fucked up and exactly was is wrong this this world. you comment on a great song about a fucking webcam address. fucking worthless response, you and all like you sicken me!
apparently this guy when to my high school. was walking down the hall and noticed him in the hall of fame. weird seeing some1 from my neck of the woods in the music biz
