i just got done playing with chick willis about 3 or 4 hours ago. second year doin it. hes my echnology teacher's dad or grandfather. but still its an awsome experiance playing with him.

i did several tours with chick in europa ,
he is one of the nicest persons i met in bluesland
it is very nice to see him here and still going strong, so thank you for placing this video

Chick picked up my band for backup when he came to town about 15 years ago. We did a weekend in a small dive on the "other side" of the tracks. It was a most interesting gig.
Halfway thru the first set, after some strange looks from the patrons Chick told the audience, "These young guys ain't white...or brown...or red...or green. They's BLUES MEN."

July 5, 2008....just watched and met Chick half an hour ago. 74 years old, and going strong. He had his 5 year old son with him, and told me that his other son was 54!!! Damn....he has some kind of secret that I'd love to know!!
