The flaw in the 1st verse just adds to the perfection - the way he picks it up, using his lyrics, "whole thing came unwound" as a humorous refrain is wonderful.

I first saw Guy at Sand Mountain in Houston in 1966. I can't believe we have gotten so old. But I can believe he has gotten so good. He always was a cut above. His wife Suzanne was in a singing group with my friend Harriet.
