I feel DPT are SUb par to the other artists you listed. I agree with the rest somewhat although i would say that I feel at time on their first album Babyshambles reached the level of the Libertines(Back from the dead, 8 dead boys, A'rebours)
yeah..it's not a play..I absolutly agree with you..BUT I have another think - just think about all the great, emotional and deeply touch music/songs - these are written by people who took/taken drugs. It opened another way to write songs and came some new ideas - so that's a way how born a lot of historical, foreverliving, great songs.
I don't say drugs better than real life, I only would like to tell that it could have some advantages which opens gates ahead of musicians.
