I like her voice and her Fashion Sense and cooking aswell she is totally Awesome forget all the rest Nana Visitor (Kira Nerys) is the Best and the Heart and Soul of the Universe
WOW the interviewer clearly snacked on lead paint chips as a child. "Lieutenant... uh..."
Generally speaking, research before an interview is good. Kira went from Bajoran Major to Colonel. The interviewer didn't seem to put her subject at ease, either... she's fiddling a lot.
Or maybe i mistook your argument. In that case tell me please which of the following concepts you reject foremost? 1. That you can judge and compare people according to their qualities (though more BUT less subjectively) 2. That their qualities are the basis for their greatness, or 3. That great and not great people have a different social value, which leads to a natural social hierarchy (though dynamic throughout time)? I'm curious. Best regards.
First of all, nothing is quantized if it comes to human beings, it's a floating dynamic spectrum, which is dependent on an individual perspective of course. But if you say, you don't buy that mentionend spectrum itself, i don't see why. Of course you can judge people according to their qualities from your individual viewpoint. And if you say that the viewpoints overall are so diverse, that you dismiss this concept per se, then you're either dishonest or ignorant. No offense!
It must be frustrating. Having that good genetics but not quite enough for being a supermodel. This results in her still moving around in the realm of normal people where most average men are to her feet and average women want to bath them in her beauty and aura, which means either to be her friends...or hate her in jealousy. There ain't many beautiful intelligent talented people on her level moving in the realm of normality. Frustrating! But she bares it with modesty and patience. Adorable!
Just wanted to make a point. You gotta distinguish between natural goodness, in terms of human quality, and acquired one and mediocrity, without serious attempt to improve. The latter category of human beings often feels comfy where it is and sometimes bares the impertinence to socially interact with naturally great people without any attempt to increase their qualities, such as looks, social skills and intelligence to deserve to move quasi equally on a high level.
its usually a good idea for an interviewer to do a little research behind the person she/he is interviewing before speaking to them.."errrr....she was a...errrr...Lieutenant...."
The interviewer needs to never be in front of a camera again unless it is a silent production. Otherwise I love Nana Visitor. Her role as "The Intendant" in several of the DS9 episodes did make me want to jump through the TV and overload a station reactor lol. I definately preferred Normal Kira to Alternate Universe.
she was awesome in ds9

It sounds like you're describing some kind of caste system, and I don't buy into that.
