Ever seen a 850/550 roll down a hill? It's a sad sight. Good choice if your not experienced. Use a tree saver next time though.

@MrShannon888 that looked more like a time ot be couragous... it's just not fun to be careful :p the fact that it's a clear trail means people do it all the time and you woulda been fine. just keep the momentum steady and lean foward instead of sitting back.

I seen the same machine flip backwards on a hill softer, but about the same in steepness...I am not sure, but it appears the XP's have a lower center of gravity, than previous models, but seem to bounce from the front suspension, so this may have been playing it safe, but no ego is worth serious injury..

Bad example of winch usage. Bad for the cable/rope and the tree to just wrap it like that. You need a short strap to protect the tree and cable from damage.

I've gone up a steeper incline than that with an 850xp and it handled just fine, no winch. Just playing it safe or are you not confident in yourself and/or the machine?
