I say really do your research on locs and really ask your self do you want locs, or are you ready for that commitment. and once you answer those questions, go for it, and once you loc your hair it woill be the best thing you'll ever do.

the same way you do when you palm roll your locs- just keep twisting until the loc twists on itself.

Gorgeous!! I wanna loc my hair but then again, I love to change hairstyles so much that I feel if I don't want locs anymore I'ma have to basically shave my head (and I'd hate to). I've been undecided for about a year!

chescaleigh is right the bantu knots in the back, flat twists in the front look is amazing. Can you do a tutorial for that please? I've just started my locs 2 or 3 months ago and I'm very much looking forward to doing these kinds of styles. Do you have any maintenance tips?

I am new to the site and I just love your vidoes your locs are beauitful. You seem very educated about locs and I was wondering could you answer a couple of questions for me.I just started my locs in which I had to redo myself due to build by a professional. I dont have many uniform parts just uneven spaces in my hair. Will this affect the locs when they grow out? And I was wondering how often should I wash them? At this moment they are only about an inch like the lady in the pic @ ur wedding.

Wow, I have been natural for 5 months in 3 days and I love it. However, I don't like only being able to wear a fro. I have seriously been thinking about getting dreads. I was wondering what method of locking did you do? I know some say they got two strand twist or braids to get them loc'd. I was just wondering. My brother just got twist to start his locs but his hair is very kinky in comparison to mine and I was just wondering. Lauryn hill was your inspiration and you are mine!

I love your locs. Your video made me laugh because of when you were explaining that it took six or seven months to loc your hair. I am natural and I was afraid to put some loc and twist gel in my hair because I was afraid it would loc. Who knew loc-ing required so much work :-P
Also, those dye jobs are fierce. I wish I was that bold.
