Adrian Peterson is on a completely different style of team than the Carolina Panthers. He might be on a whole different level but give the guy a break. You are comparing a rookie with zero starts on a conservative team to a "featured back" with an all-star cast for an offensive line.

Jonathan Stewart might not win rookie of the year and if that's the case it's not his fault. He is being held back by John Fox.

Actually he really didn't contradict himself at all if you read it carefully, the only thing he missed was saying they have two "good" running backs now, why would it matter if they had another good one. Secondly, they just signed warrick dunn and tj duckett, no reason for the seahawks to draft another running back as their backfield is now crowded with aging vets. It's wishful thinking that they'll even repeat as NFC West Champions if San Fran and Arizona have healthy seasons.
