Not to say that Snoop wasn't a great running back, because he is, but if you ask me, this was his best run in his college career. At least his most memorable.
Snoop was the Timberline High School football team. I'm one of the few lucky ones to watch him break the 3A high school rushing yard record which I think is about 6000+ yards.
I knew him and Jeremy Stevens Through football, track, and church and I must say that he is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.Unlike Jeremy Stevens the biggest asshole in the NFL.
Well i went to North Thurston and got play against TLine in '04 as usual we lost. But man I will never forget the crowd. But the main reaosn I knew him is because my father wanted to coach him in Northwest Select because he is such a good sprinter. If you dont believe Im from Lacey give me a quiz.
Adrian Peterson is on a completely different style of team than the Carolina Panthers. He might be on a whole different level but give the guy a break. You are comparing a rookie with zero starts on a conservative team to a "featured back" with an all-star cast for an offensive line.
Jonathan Stewart might not win rookie of the year and if that's the case it's not his fault. He is being held back by John Fox.
Hey this was from his freshman year too...He's 3 years older now and stronger. He pretty much split carries all throughout his career so he should have a lot of carries left in him. GO DUCKS.
Even though this was his first of many carries at UO, I personally think this was his best run at Oregon. But he made a lot of beautiful runs, especially his Junior year.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Hasselbeck hands it off to Jonathan Stewart, he finds an opening, breaks Junior Seau's tackle...HE'S FREE, THE FIELD IS EMPTY! JONATHAN STEWART 55 YARD TOUCHDOWN! THE SEAHAWKS WIN THEIR SECOND SUPERBOWL IN LESS THAN 4 YEARS!
Sad to hear that he just recently had surgery on his big toe and will be out 4-6 months. He will probably fall out of the first. Still, if I'm the Jets and he is available come pick #37, I'd used it on him.
while Jonathan Stewart is my favorite RB in the draft right now I think this run was pretty easy, I mean its 38-21 4th quater oregon ball, obviously all the defenders are focused of striping the ball over tackeling him. but no matter hes still a great RB imo and he'll make a great pro
lol why would he go to the seahawks, they have 2 runningbacks that arent playing well, addding a third will make them better? three words offensive line problems next time think before u talk moron.
Yeah... that's why we just signed Mike Wahle to help patch up to O-Line. The one thing this team is missing is a fresh talented Running Back (Johnathan Stewart) and maybe a TE and we'll take the superbowl in 08. And you're the moron for contridicting yourself "two running backs who aren't playing well..." ... "offensive line problems". Hmmmm.
Actually he really didn't contradict himself at all if you read it carefully, the only thing he missed was saying they have two "good" running backs now, why would it matter if they had another good one. Secondly, they just signed warrick dunn and tj duckett, no reason for the seahawks to draft another running back as their backfield is now crowded with aging vets. It's wishful thinking that they'll even repeat as NFC West Champions if San Fran and Arizona have healthy seasons.
He is a washington native who has expressed that his dream is to play for the seahawks, our GENERAL MANAGER wants to draft him as well and he WILL fall to us in the draft. Maybe do a little research before YOU open your mouth you half wit douchebag.
Stewart will be better than McFadden in the NFL, McFadden runs to upright. Hopefully J-Stew falls to the hawks because he will tear it up and win a superbowl with the hawks.
Most underrated back in college football? You would think people NEW something about college football if they were watching this clip. Apparently that is not so.
should be this year or next year Stewart will get recognition as a top back. probably top 10 this year, and next year probably top 3. Hell of a running back.
Just saw the preview to "Perfect Effort" about De La Salle's 12 year winning streak. It looks like a pretty inspirational movie. Search for it on youtube or it's website perfecteffort (dot) com
I remember Snoop. When he was a Senoir at T-Line i was in 8th grade. I met him a couple times, watched his games...watched him beat my school Thurston ha ha hes a good person. He will go far in football if he stays healthy.
wow GFicek i know u made this comment 10 months ago but look at how ur season ended up compared to Oregon State! Yvenson Bernard is a much mroe dependable back who catches passes and runs. He gets more yards per carries adn more TD's. Now rethink ur comment
which is why Bernard is #6 on PAc 10 all time rushing list, even when he had 20 rushing yards his first season becasue of the one dimensional air attack. oh ya. a lot better.
Considering all the Beavers could do was RUN the ball. Bernard got more carries than Adrian Peterson against the Chargers. He's a good running back but I'd go with Stewart anyday.
oh ok, becasue NFL prospects help you win college football games. Reggie Bush ain't doing so well in the NFL, but what about Lendale WHite, he was not as good in college, and not as good of a prospect, but is better in the NFL.
ok i c wut your sayin, butthe RB that do well in the nfl are the bigger mo duralbe backs, bernard isnt small but he isnt big, and he hits the hole hard but he doesnt have very good speed, j-stew is huge, very fast, hits the holes hard, great vision, good agillity, but he combines power and agillity
Not to say that Snoop wasn't a great running back, because he is, but if you ask me, this was his best run in his college career. At least his most memorable.
