@McGreggor559 don't buy a new router, yet anyway. For everyone getting this error try connecting to dedicated servers through the steam server browser, go to view>servers and then try connect to mw3 servers from there. Like the comment so people can see
@AnaemicSardine I think its because the patch they brought out has an issue with our routers connection or something, what isp are you with? and can you find games on spec ops because I can which is strange...

GUYS if you have this problem with a call of duty pc game ...
Then i reccomend you go to your Start folder and click Computer
..Program files -> Steam -> SteamApps -> Common -> Call of duty -> players2..
Then open config with WordPad/NotePad and then press and hold Ctrl and then F..
Then a search bare pops out and search seta r_drawWater then click up and click find ...
And then when you find it then there is a 0 you just change that to 1 and then you should be fine !
It worked for me !!

Hmmm.. okay, mine is doing it again.. but.. i tried starting a private match by myself.. then ended match
and checked to play online and it worked.. Hahaha
