  • If I may ... Victoria IS red-haired in the movie, but not bright red ... just that kind of red that borders on blond but definitely more red than blond ... like Lindsay Lohan's hair in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Not to mention that the blue pigmentation of the film messes up the redness of it. ...

  • @jusk8lp In other words, blond with red highlights.

  • @ZaxfromTSdC or would "fiery red" suit the description? (Sorry if I'm a little confused; English is not my first language.)

  • @jusk8lp Nah. Fiery red would be so red that it'd show through the blue filter.

That it showed as blond through the blue filter indicates that it wasn't even red to begin with. They may have simply done her highlights in a slight reddish, but her hair was definitely blond.

  • Wait, how'd you do this chapter without looking at the book? Did you just read it enough, or...?

  • Nah. I'd typed up a bit of a script to follow and had it posted just above the camera...like a prompter. >.>

  • i noticed the constant looking above the camera

  • .....why are you wearing a suit? lol

  • 'cause I have one and thought that, by golly, I'm gonna wear it! XD

  • The reason James decided to track her wasn't because of her smell but because the Cullens were protective of her and thus making it a game to see if he could get to her.

  • If only the book actually gave that information instead of showing that it was because of her smell, eh?

  • It did give that info in chapter 19. Edward said it was partly her smell but wehen they defended her it only made everything much worse as James sees himself as a hunter and now Bella is the prize and with the cullens there to preotect her and made it the most exciting game yet.

  • No, he said that her smell was what caused James to hunt her down. That he defended her turned it into a game for James. Whether or not he defended her, though, James was still going to hunt her. Her inexplicably "delicious" smell was what made her the prize. The Cullens merely made the deed more interesting.

  • Of course, I'd like to point out that her unexplained "special smell" and unexplained immunity to most Meyerpire powers are complete and utter bullshit. Like Edward's mindreading, they are changed moment by moment to be whatever makes Bella more special at the given time.

  • As Edward says it wasn't that she smelt as good to James as she does to him or there would have been a fight there and then. The only reason he is tracking her is because the Cullens didn't step aside and let him kill her. He just saw Bella as a human with a bunch of vampires and thought the only reason she could possibley be there was to be a 'snack' and therefore they wouldn't hold it against him if he had a bite. So really by the time he decided to hunt her, her smell was irrelevent.

  • ..it was her smell that led him to decide to eat her at all. He would have tried to kill her, regardless of their actions. Had they stood aside, he would have eaten her straight away. Their actions simply made it all the more fun for him.

Whether she smelled "as good" to James or not, it was her smell that led him to hunt her.

  • That was why he decided to kill her not why he decided to hunt her. lol

  • ...and to kill her, he had to hunt her. With the decision to kill her already having been made, hunting was not even a decision.

  • Whens the next one coming out? Please let it be soon! LoL I love this

  • Twilight: Proof that prolonged wet dreams about sexy 17 year old pixies can indeed become bestsellers.

  • James is my favourite character. At least he tried to be more like a real vampire. :D

    next chapter please!

  • Blorange. LMAO.

  • I wonder if they realize Bella's smell comes from not bathing.

  • I do not wish to sound impatient, but when will chapter 19 come out?

  • Should be able to do it this week, either before or after I post my review of the movie.

  • cool. I will wait patiently for its arrival...

  • Yay! You've updated :D

    This makes me happy.

Funny and accurate as ever Zax.

  • Hahahah dude, Meier answered that period question! She said that it's considered "dead blood" and doesn't count.....

She also added that Bella is too embarrassed to ask, and Edward is too much of a "gentleman" to mention it.

    lame.

  • You...You are awesome. I'm glad there is at least ONE person in the world who is intellegent. Good for you, my kind sir! I tip my hat to you.

  • Meyer said that Victoria was sort of a homage to Queen Victoria of England.

    That's insulting.

  • "Meyer said that Victoria was sort of a homage to Queen Victoria of England"

As someone who is English, that really pisses me off. Meyer has no fucking clue, does she?

  • Nope. That would require her to do actual research. And think.

  • Of course not.

I found it rather offensive and I'm not even English.

Then again, everything about Meyer and those books offends me.

  • Comment removed

  • That has almost as much gaul as saying that her book series is as good as Pride and Prejudice... makes me pissed.

  • Oh my, I love the snazzy suit.

  • Nice suit.

Also, love what you're doing, keep it up.

  • I wonder what happens when Bella has her period?

  • Edward apparently ignores it. 'cause Meyerpires can simply will themselves to not need to feed on blood. *dramatic eyeroll*

  • god, the image is vile.

    forget i said anything HAHA.

  • Your Twilight Abridged videos rock! XD I can't wait for the next chapter! You tell it like it is, awesome. xD

  • I love you. 8D

  • I'm sorry, I must have missed something. When did you start explaining things?

  • You were not really explaining much to begin with. If you considered it to be an explanation, you wouldn't even pass a middle school expository text, let alone a high school argumentative text.

You've got people here explaining more than you did, mate.

  • Sorry, kid, she isn't using logic. Don't you think Bella would have been vamped when she had sex with Eddie? :P

If you don't want to discuss the books with the antis then go talk with other fans and stay away from the antis and let them have their opinion.

  • Oddly enough, the bodily fluids of vampires is replaced with venom. That said venom is acidic enough to dissolve Bella's colored contact lenses, but somehow doesn't affect anything during a make-out session. That leaves me questioning this:

How the hell can Edward impregnate a human when his "sperm" happens to be venom? Wouldn't that actually transform Bella into a vampire instead of making her pregnant?

Logic isn't present in Twilight. Just supporting Vanilla here :3

  • It would be nice if she used logic as opposed to the epic fail science she's been using because then it would be much more believable.

  • The red blood cells in humans & other mammals lack a nuclei while in chickens & other birds, the red blood cells do. In mammals & humans, immature red blood cells, called reticulocytes, appear in the blood in some diseases. Animals & human blood have a similar set of cell types; red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets & proteins. A B O blood types are found in animals, too. Also, the Rhesus factor is named after the Rhesus monkey, but it's affiliated to humans.

    Human, animal. Same blood.

  • Um, no. There's virtually no difference between human blood and animal blood.

  • Wonderful as always. Is see you survived the coming of the Twilight movies to your store. Unfortunately my manager has built a kind of mini Edward shrine, complete with one of those huge Edward posters.

  • Yep, I've survived. Most of my coworkers are antis, just due to the concept and hype alone. Only one of my anti coworkers actually bothered watching the movie...which was what sealed his antidom. :D

  • Someone forgot that Stephen King already said that Meyer can't write worth a darn.

Most people I know with any degree in English and talent in writing hate Meyer's writing - because it sucks.

    You forget humans ARE animals.

And if you were a writer you would have an IDEA that writers need criticism. And god, does Meyer need it.

  • I agree. Meyer needs so much criticsm and she should use that to become a better writer, not make the same mistakes over and over again. Research would help...

  • Oh she gets more then enough criticsm, but she ignores it. The last three books are evidence of this ._.

  • Lets put this in perspective by comparing it to another idea...

If I eat green Apples, my eyes should turn green right?

But, if I eat red apples, my eyes should turn red?

Apples are apples, and no, they don't really change eye color, but it's the same with blood.

Blood is blood, no matter who or what it's from.

  • Not in regard to color.

Again, there is no actual reason for the difference in color. Aside from, of course, Meyer's failed attempt at explaining things through science and her undying drive to point out how super-special-awesome she mistakes the Cullens to be.

  • That doesn't make sense, actually. The Nomads consume blood.

    The Cullens consume blood.

The blood that the Cullens consume is just as red as that of humans.

It makes no sense why their eyes would be different colors -- never you mind the issue that it wouldn't change their eye color anyway.

  • Meyer needs a dose of reality: she can't write.

  • Ooh, a sloppily tacked on attempt at an actual plot! Wow! :D Damn that whore is good.

<3 These please me. Continue when you have the time. :D

  • Who cares if that untalented hack gets upset? She's too arrogant and self obsessed and would see it as a compliment.

If you can't accept people hate the shitty little lustmance, then kindly get the fuck off the internet and go cry in a corner like a whiny little emo bitch.

  • 1. No, it doesn't. And I have many more reasons for my dislike than just the non-plot.

    2. Yes, I dabble with writing in my time. No, I have no reason whatsoever to give any respect to a talentless hack such as Meyer.

    3. You realize that makes no sense, right?

    4. I have read the book thoroughly. My point is that it makes no sense. Blood is blood.

    5. No. I'll continue to make videos. Personally, I'd be thrilled if my videos had any sort of impact on Meyer. Fans kiss her ass enough.

  • glad to have ya back =]

  • Glad to be back. ;)

  • Again, that's not how it shows in the images I've seen. If anything, Victoria's hair came out as light as Rosalie's, if not lighter. Only difference is the dark roots and that Victoria's hair is "wilder".

Regardless, it came out as neither being "a startling shade of red" nor "brilliant orange".

  • i was waiting for the end of the book at chapter six...god bless anyone who got bored at this point in the story.

character shielding is AMAZING, isn't it?

  • OMG TEH PLOTZORZ THIKENZ!!!!!11!!1oneone....and its about frigging time too. either way, the book still just isn't that interesting...pitiful.

  • Oh, just you wait. ..it doesn't last long.

  • yeah, i'm up to chapter 21 or something....the addition of a plot made it SLIGHTLY more interesting to read (cuz its a plot), but damn, its STILL badly written...

  • I checked my YouTube today and I saw this. I quite literally squealed with glee when I saw your brand new video. Keep them coming. 5/5.

  • Wow. Didn't know my vids were sqeal-inducing. o.o

  • Yes, they bring shiny happy lulz to my day :)

  • on many chapters I agree with a decent amount of your points. Not this one though. Plus Victorias hair was not blonde in the movie.

  • Yes, it was. Her hair was very blonde in the movie.

  • It wasn't as bright a red as the book implys but it was not blonde. I went back and watched clips from the movie to confirm and still think so.

  • Every screenshot I've seen, the images on the imdb profile, and random clips I've encountered all show her as being blonde. >.>

  • Maybe its a difference in the definition of blonde then. Oh well.

  • Blonde is yellow-ish hair. >.>

  • Rosalie is blonde and Victorias hair isn't like hers. It isn't a darker or lighter shade it simply has a different color. Its like a peachy orangish red.

  • Bwahahahaha

    *tear*tear* hahah

    oh wow

    keep them coming!!!

    hahaha

  • [Applauds]

  • I KNOW! When I read the book I kept hoping something vaguely interesting would happen. But no, it's just more stuff about Bella 18 chapters in, how once again a vampire male wants to eat her face. I think if she smells so good, go roll in garbage.

  • woo hoo!

  • I'm glad you put this up, finally! It feels like it's been forever.

I like how you're presenting yourself on camera these days. You resemble a TV news anchor, or a correspondent...

  • I figured that I might as well dress it up a bit since I have no skill with video editing. XD

  • Amazing. Well worth the wait. So going on my Zune along with the other 17 chapters.

  • I hope to have the next one up MUCH sooner than this one was. XD

And without all the distractions on my old computer to get in the way, I should find myself with more time to do it.

  • It will be much anticipated.
