0-80 in the Ram 50

Is it hard to put a 318 in a Ram 50? Any problems with connecting it to the stock transmission?

You have to use a V-8 904 torqueflite, I'm not sure a 727 will work, even the 904 was a tight fit.

Not much,Edelbrock performer intake & carb.(600 cfm.) block hugger headers, re-curved dist. but the truck is pretty light at 2740 lbs.

No clue, but those old 318s were rated at 230 hp & 340 lbs ft. torque at the flywheel.
