  • amazing

  • "cutting the strings" is a SICK one, might hafta try it

  • I have to admit I don't like the "puppet master". I just don't find the practicality in it? But I think the (rubiks cube) is your golden egg, that is if it is yours?

    hugs, juls

  • You would have to have a strong/flexible leg to keep a guy down without wrist to ankle!

  • NIiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Will definately try tomorrow.

  • thanks for sharing this. You have spread the wolverine-a-tine to Detroit and beyond! Nice work bro, keep it up! thanks

  • WoW!!

  • I cant believe you guys made this stuff up... I think its awsome! ill come train with you guys some time.

  • wow im like a kid in a candy store right now. there are so many options for the tap. this will take a while to master. ty for sharing bro. this is some uber ill shit.

  • wow dude! where can i see this in real action, have a rubix cube ever been performed in a mma fight? please send me a link.

  • Matt Horwich used the rubix cube in his fight with Jim Miller on the under card of a UFC the sometime towards the end of last year. He actually commented on the Puppet Master 4 video. Also Sean Bollinger used the Rubix Cube in a no gi match that is up on Youtube, which was the first place I ever actually saw the Rubix Cube. Miller escaped Matts try at the move because he wasn't hugging the opposite knee tight, but Bollinger ended up transitioning to a beautiful triangle choke in his match.

  • cool, thanx man!

  • hey wcwolverine, iv been working rubiks cube in hawaii for some time now and i think you should show the apple slicer after the sweep. it works every time and its very quick. mahlo and aloha bruddahs.

  • why would you not just take the triangle choke once you have his arm trapped around your ankle?

  • if he is a guy with strong triangle defense it is good to have options

  • good stuff. ;D

  • did the kid being worked on just win the tournament of champions in denver? if it is- congrats man! I hope i can train with you guys some time, also a team mate of mine won the advanced nogi with that same move- that's some slick shit!

  • Yes, Brenton did just win a grappling tournament in Denver a month and a half ago. Is there a video of your team mate using that move? If so, could you post it, because I would love to see it,

    Wolverine

  • This is absolutely disgusting. I love it.

  • damn

  • hey man all of these puppet master videos are awesome. i have yet to watch all of them cause i'm trying to digest the first of them. any way you can do some setups from standard closed guard like jerome does? I know he sets up the rubix cube from a situp that looks like he's going for kimura or guillotine. i have a hard time getting any of my training partners to let me get to pyramid. I'm going to try to work the pyramid more though.

  • good luck with this stuff. it looks dope..

  • sweet.....:P

  • This stuff is sick!!!!!! Thanks so much!

  • love the drowning puppet its work well especially when u use a kimura its like the carni they are pretty much trapped... i dont like giving up the Rubix cube for the RNC so i have been playing with the Chickenwing Crossface or Chickenwing choke (if u got it in deep and have long arms)very good stuff

  • real nice

  • that's genius, I'm going to start practicing those right away.

  • Puppet Master 4 is comming soon, need to re-film it and add a few things. You guys will really like it. Let me know if you guys are having luck with the moves and when you come up with new subs and transitions. Thanks,

    Wolverine

  • I am writing it all down and ef gunna practice.I am very flexible and use alot of basic rubber guard in training and pull it off well,so its just an ad to the game. There are similar moves with the gi I have done.

  • Christine, one of the girls from our club, uses the Rubik's Cube (we've been calling it "The Christine") to set up a triangle. I've just sent this video to her. I'm probably going to regret it. :)

  • Thanks guys. We are going to film a Puppet Master part 3 video the weekend with a bunch of new set ups for the Rubix Cube, and two new chokes from the puppet master that are just freakin' brutal. The transition to the back is probably the move I'm having the most success with right now, its got me thinking of some new possible options...

  • can you do all the puppet videos together...be awesome if you could

  • Might be able to do a video showing everything when I get back home. I've got some new stuff that ties the Puppet Master in with the rest of the 10th Planet system that I want to film also. There is a new triangle transition from a failed Riddler or Unforgiven you guys will like. A lot of the new stuff will be based off of dealing with an opponent who trys to counter the different set ups, plus there are a few more sneaky set ups. Probably enough stuff for three more videos.

    Wolverine

  • good stuff, love the drowning Puppet

  • You should call the face-down puppetmaster the Muppet Pastor :) Great stuff.

  • pwoah! love the transition to rear naked choke! keep it up! let me know if there's more comming :) cheers mate

  • I agree, the transition to the back is really sick. Well Done!
