El rumano Mircea Stefan Gogoncea ha resultado ganador del concurso internacional de guitarra clásica 'Norba Caesarina', celebrado en la noche del jueves en Cáceres.
El segundo premio recayó en Rubén Bettencourt, de nacionalidad portuguesa, mientras que el español Andrea González logró el tercer premio. Alexis Vallejos obtuvo diploma de finalista.

El jurado del XLIV Certamen Internacional de Guitarra Francisco Tárrega ha dado a conocer los nombres de los cuatro finalistas de la edición de este año. Se trata de Pablo Garibay (México); Ali Jorge Arango (Cuba); Mircea Stefan Gogoncea (Rumanía) y Arkaitz Chambonnet (Francia)

Yes, I agree he is very talented, but he needs to work with quality of sound and much more feeling. If you listen continously his several videos, he plays notes, not music.

Terpsichore III is based on the popular folk dance "Mantili Kalamatiano" (Handkerchief Kalamatiano), in 7/8 time.
It is played at virtually every Greek gathering (such is its enduring appeal), and Mircea Gogoncea has certainly done a terrific job with it on this recording.
