  • I go to Harvest where Greg Laurie preaches and the bookstore there sells "Reasoning From The Scriptures With Catholics" by Ron Rhodes, which shows whats unbiblical about the Catholic faith. I enjoyed reading that. But I haven't seen much hints of Greg trying to join with Catholics. Should I be worried? I don't find his teachings to be false (yet), but I know he's friends with Rick Warren and Billy Graham. Should I be worried? Would it be possible for me to try to contact him and give a warning?

  • @ArtNGame215 Many have tryed contacting Greg Laurie warning him on this issues, they just get ignored, Greg Laurie has no problems promoting contemplative worship, “Have Heart” by Steve Berger is promoted by Greg Laurie the problem is the book promotes necromancy.

  • @thegodsplumbline

the major concern with the ministry of Greg Laurie is five-fold: (1) He teaches a man-centered gospel; (2) He fails to identify false teachers in the church; (3) He is duped by psychology; (4) He is ecumenical; and (5) He obliterates the warning of discipleship

  • @thegodsplumbline Greg Laurie came out of Chuck Smith's church. In view of this, it is no wonder he is ecumenical. In Laurie's Harvest Crusades, between 500 and 800 churches are involved in providing various forms of support. The Harvest web site states that:

  • @thegodsplumbline "The type of support would range from financial support to providing volunteer workers to promoting attendance at the crusades. Many denominations and associations are involved, including Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Evangelical Free, Church of Christ [baptismal regeneration], Assembly of God, Calvary Chapels, and independent churches."

  • @thegodsplumbline Typically, Vineyard and Roman Catholic churches also participate. With this in mind, should it be a surprise to read that Laurie said, "I find I have more in common with a committed Catholic than a liberal Protestant" (L.A. Times ). [cf. 2 John 9-11]

  • @thegodsplumbline Is contemplative worship the same or similar to meditating? Does Greg promote Have Heart because his son Christopher got killed a few years ago and he still misses him? I see only 2 negative reviews on Amazon that claim necromancy.

  • @ArtNGame215 contemplative worship was origanlly practiced in the RCC, Thomas Merton and Thomas Keating were catholic mystics who introduced this into the penticostal churches, these are rooted in Budhest and Hindu practices the priciples of contemplative worship is promoting panthism.

  • @thegodsplumbline on the book mentioned i want to encourage you to check deception in the church website or the lighthouse trails research.

  • the freemason doctrine in evangelical churches is dispensationalism.

  • I don't know if you ever heard of John Todd ?? He mentioned this back in the 70's hkt7 (dot) com / ~jamesjpn / articles / john_todd_and_the_illuminati (dot) htm jamesjpn (dot) com / todd / Todd_3b (dot) mp3 go to 6:10

  • @vjzaico yes I have heard of John Todd, I have been trying to get sustainable evedence as I cannot go by anecdotal evidence.

  • @thegodsplumbline I also know about freemasonry.

  • Listen people - Get into the Word .... Get into the Word - Get into the Word - Get into the Word - GET INTO THE WORD !!!! For everyone who does only partake of the milk of the Word is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for He is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern between both good and evil. Now im not going to tell you where this scripture is - You should know it. Know God.

  • i dont trust any church!!! however i need a church to fellowship!!! but it is stuff like this that keeps me away what to i do !! what about evangelical free are they solid, i just dont know anymore!!! i know that freemasonry wants to destroy christianity

  • how sure are you , do you have more proof!!

  • @reformedbro1 yes check the web links at the end of the video, I will send you a pm if you wish the video is conclusive.

  • i left CC years ago. During my time there however i took it upon myself to study scripture in the area of end time events specifically concerning the "rapture". The more i studied the more I realized that scripture supports that believers will indeed go through the tribulation. It's a popular notion in CC churches of the pre-trib rapture thus not encouraging deeper study as to what true mark of the beast is. Why would a believer have to be concerned about the mark of the beast in this case?

  • @jogmas12 I think mid to post tribbers would have to be but not pre-tribbers.

  • Sounds to me it is a Business not a True Faith.. I thought Jesus left an example of an unpaid ministry

  • Jerry Boykin I've heard that guy speak at Jack Hibbs church in Chino in 08 during the Strategic Perspectives conference. Isn't he one of the founding members of the Delta Force? I think that is where I remember hearing his name at first. I don't think I have ever seen him at Harvest. I know Warren is bad news. I haven't really heard him mentioned at Harvest since he went off the deep end. We need to keep these guys in prayer man before it's too late for them.

  • soo scary...Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. Ephesians 5:11

  • Greg Laurie is nice, but he does not believe God would send any to hell if this is the case we do not need Jesus, we cannot value an individual based on how nice they are and I agree with you here.

The issue is not a person is saved through CC, or many who speak out against Billy Graham who is a universalist would have to apologies to him due to the fact that people are saved because of Billy Graham.

It is even known that their are CC members who endorse Normal Vincent Peale 32o

  • I was "Saved", Baptized, Married,as well as served @ Calvary Chapel, & I can tell you, though it looks FAR different to me now, it seemed right on the money when we were there.

Sadly it took me "sliding" for a time, repenting & crying out to God for forgiveness & restoration, that lead me down a path to looking at some of the symbolism & structures that had always bothered me there. As an EX-Satanist, I saw things others didn't,

Many friends there still-PLEASE PRAY 4 Them!

    Gob Bless All of You

  • @Sven3xs we do genuinely pray for the people in CC as we are very much concerned for the people that have been deceived by the ecumenical Jesuit agenda that has infiltrated the CC movement in a very deceitful way some of the people who are no leaders such as Greg Laurie are simply agents for Rome.

  • @thegodsplumbline ...Yes, and I love Greg Laurie...don't get me wrong, I'm not endorsing, just being honest..I "like" the guy, and THAT, is possibly the most dangerous part. They don't "slip" all that often per capita, and when they do, the people there are used to it, indoctrinated, so they don't see/hear anything out of line.

Most knew nothing bibliographically before they were "saved" so all they know is what they've heard "there".

5 years ago I would have fought you tooth and nail over this

  • @thegodsplumbline-cont.-there are a LOT of really good people there, that Love the Lord and Obey Him to the very best of their know how, but their "know how" was all learned there-So how does a Neophyte hear the 5% falsehood, that they'd never learned? As all of Satan's lies, they're cloaked in Truth to be hidden.

I should have turned around @ the sight of the descending dove, Chalice or not. At 1st I thought.."eew, I bet they don't realize what that looks like"-I was wrong, they did.

    GodBlessU

  • @Sven3xs I dont doubt this, it is even more confounding how much child abuse is in CC also. you can google this.

  • @Sven3xs please msg me as regards those symbols you spoke of ,if you could be so kind as i am researching the subject at present ,thanks , ,GOD bless

  • @roxfoot sure

  • thanks! I posted it

  • Pray for their salvation as per God's perfect will. Many of the leaders have NEVER been born again. Many are religious, and never knew our Lord. For the Lord Promises to deliver His children from falsehood, and to lead us into all paths that lead unto Righteousness, His Righteousness, His Truth, His Light. Many of these leaders have been planted by Satan, for they have always been tares. A great delusion has taken place, the time of our Lord to call us home is close. Lord preserve us all.

  • God bless you for re-posting this, I have posted it twice from another source, and twice it has been taken down, but I shall repost this for sure! Satan hates for the truth to get out about his pawns...

  • Pray for Chuck Smith and other deluded leaders.
