  • Hi Chelsea, Keep on try to do the right thing by eat the right foods try your best to maintain.

  • I hear you loud and clear and I am going through the same thing as you. I'll pray for both of us and I know we can do it! Thank you so much for this lovely video. I love listening to you talk!

  • One way to counter the carbo addiction is to eat very sweet fruits, for a few days, such as melons, honey dew, pineapple, etc. You're craving that sugary taste. But, your body is really craving the alcohol. Refrain, from drinking juices. It's better to eat fruits with a high water content to substitute for the juices. I do this every time I eat a refined carbo food. That way I don't feel bad about my decision because I countered it with a healthy food choice. Take my advice, I understand. ;)

  • I go through the same thing from time to time. For instance, I'll eat raw foods 3-4 times a week. and cook foods 2-3 times a week. Once in a while, I eat a refined sugar which then starts the alcohol addiction process. lol. I know what is going to happen. But, when I'm having an emotional day and it's offered to me sometimes I'll eat the refined carbo food. I don't feel bad about it, either. What I learned to do is not bring those foods into my home. I only buy fruits to snack in my home.

  • When your body processes refined sugar it creates sugar alcohol. The alcohol is released into the bloodstream mimicking the physiological symptoms as if you drank an alcoholic beverage. BTW, sugar alcohol is used to make alcoholic beverages. Once the alcohol is passed from the body, you start to crave sugar again. But, what you are really craving is the alcohol. You start experiencing withdrawal symptoms, so you eat a carb food. Which starts the process again and again, making you an addict.

  • You're a sweetheart. God bless you and keep up the good work. Follow your heart and instincts.

  • Thank you so much! :-)

  • light is all about purification and rebirth.

  • I agree the transition must be gradual. Thats the case with any change in diet. Great video though :)

  • I am a male with eating disorders. I understand struggles around food and eating. I am a raw foodist, I have been for a few years now. Listen dear, one must transition slowly. Don't beat yourself up for your body reacting NATURALLY to the transition. It's may now, how are you doing? Nuts - need to be soaked and aprouted... they digest better. They are very healthy in proper serving sizes. Ps. Let's chat sometime? Message me. And I am very sorry to hear about your Mother, hugs:::

  • Hi thank you so much fot he comment. You are right. I am starting to understand that I need to start slow. Jumping in is definately why I struggle so much with this. I am rethinking some things to see how my body will respond. I am struggling but on the positive side I am gaining wisdom through the stuggle. I am excited about what is to come. I will keep in touch.
