I love both versions. WHat I liked about the animated version is that even if it was toned down to be a bit kid friendly.... it was subtle, clever written and there were times that it was scary too in a cheesy but enjoyable way. Like I will never forget the episode with the mean fisherman.

Nice tribute. Personally, I'm more of a fan of the live action tv show than the animated tv show.

It's just that I'm usually against making of kid friendly versions of something that wasn't aimed at kids in the first place.
