If you listen to this or read the article and don't check it out ... and then say to yourself "wow, the rich are getting hit hard", then you, the middle class and workers, deserve to continue to get raped by a tax system that favors the richest. Where to start? There is no 59% tax rate - the highest in the USA is 35%. We're all paying a "cover charge" to get into the bar - payroll taxes paid by all. Not to mention fed gas tax paid by all to get to the bar.
There's no "first 4 people getting a free beer" in the USA. And Medicare / FICA - they hit poor / middle much harder than rich since they only apply on first $97,500 in income.
FACT: In the 1950's, the USA's greatest period of economic growth, the top tax rate was 92%. We had no "debt ceiling issues" because the rich were paying their fare share instead of crybaby crap and stupid propaganda like this video.
@EsqDave you sound like you know what you're talking about (no sarcasm). when i was "poor" back in 2009, any amount deducted from my gross from my paycheck to pay for taxes i eventually got back in tax returns, so i really didn't pay anything right? explain...
