In the book, this girl Cathy is in love with 2 people, but one is called Heathcliff who she truly loved first, but he is evil and possessive but really loves her.

When cathy dies, she comes back as a ghost *in the beginning of the book* and knocks on the window asking to be let in as she's 'so cold'

It's a loovely book. Definitely recommend it :)

Thank you for posting. I've loved this book since I was 15 and it changed my life. Wish I had had the song at that time, many years ago. Goes right along with the book. You'd probably think she was just crazy if you didn't know the story. Wow, she really got it!
