I found this song on baby struggles. com. I lost my baby at 6 1/2 weeks pregnant, 1/7/2012. I know the Lord will bless me and my husband with children, this would have been a first for both of us. All things happen for a reason and I have to put my problems and worries in God's hands and he will heal me.
Its so amazing how people can get closer to christ in suffering. Amazing people, I wish i had your strength. You faith is like the light of the earth that keeps it turning. With out the faith of its followers, christianity would be just an idea confined to the depths of history. I hope one day to learn this truth, that is, faith.

Jesus suffered ultimate misery and death-what was the positive turning point? HE SURVIVED!:-) When you almost die from grief, fear, depresssion or sickness and He holds you, you'll get it dear one.
And Jesus is restoration... He knows when you come out of the flames and if you've leant on Him for strength, you come out stronger and more beautiful. More wonderful, brilliant. We don't know if half the time, but He's constantly with us and holding us... we are always protected.

This is a beautiful song and when I think of some of the things I've been through, like the loss of my brother, I can hear the words in this song. Through pain, we will be held, and through being held we can find the peace and comfort we seek...we survive in knowing we have Him (Jesus) and what He has already done for us.

I was supposed to be an aunt for the 3rd time. Then in october of 2009 My sister went to find out what the gender was. she was exactly 5 months and they found out that the baby had died. And i was unable to go to the funeral because it was out of state. This is the song that was played at his funeral... I havent seen my sister since and she is supposed to come down with her other baby for christmas... I feel like crying everytime I here this but it makes me feel so good when i listen to it...

When I was drinking at feeling at my worstI promised God never to drink again.I felt The Holy Spirit enter me.Also when my Dad died of a very painful cancer in 1996 they found him dead with a smile on his face.This song never fails to make me cry out loud.

sheba 1099: it's ok to feel what you feel, as scary as it can be and sad and angry as you might be..Do you have someone you trust to talk to, and do you do journaling, to give you a safe place to let it all out? Just know that there are crisis lines you can call 24/7 if you feel unsafe with yourself, or just need someone who won't judge you, to talk to.

This is a beautiful song and when I think of some of the things I've been through, like the loss of my brother, I can hear the words in this song. Through pain, we will be held, and through being held we can find the peace and comfort we seek...we survive in knowing we have Him (Jesus) and what He has already done for us.

I love this song so much and it does depict how God does hold us in his hands when we're suffering. The only line that didn't fit was..."and you survive" because if a parent lost a child, it wouldn't be much comfort in knowing that although they lost that child, they survived....
