Excellent and very appropriate visual accompaniment for this fascinating Edison cylinder.
An ironic line:
'Handsome Wallace Reid, stepped out full of 'speed'. Back then; this was just an innocent rhyme.
Tragically, Wallace Reid was one of the earliest Hollywood stars to have his career cut short by drug addiction. It resulted from morphine used to subdue pain resulting from a train accident.
You'll find plenty more info about Wallace Reid at Wikipedia.
I only wish you had posted the entire recording!

Maurice Burkhardt reminds me of Al Jolson, but personally, I like his singing more than Mr. Jolson's!

Excellent and very appropriate visual accompaniment for this fascinating Edison cylinder record.
How did you get the audio so good? -- Surface noise is virtually non-existent.
I own a copy of this 1920 Blue Amberol but your version beats the results from my Opera Phonograph. Charles (Australia)
